STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! Literally shaking after the experience. This hairstylist Hamedah ( "Style by MiMi") THREATENED TO and I quote "beat my a*** while holding what looked to be haircutting scissors. The reason? My girlfriend had an appointment with her today to get her hair straightened for her birthday and upon showing up to her appointment, the stylist says she can't do her hair because she, and again, I quote her exact words: "had somewhere to be" and didn't have time. Despite literally booking the appointment. My girlfriend was crying and we were just about to go home when my gf was notified that the stylist charged her a "cancellation fee". My gf did not cancel, the stylist did--after we drove all the way here. How extremely unprofessional! We were upset and went back to talk to her to demand our refund. As I told her charging my gf under the guise of "cancelling" when she didn't was fraudulent and we would be disputing this however necessary. I was speaking calmly. She then physically got in my face and yelled "you guys better get out of here before I beat your asses" while holding the scissor in her right fist. I was alarmed by the threat and we left without the refund but we will be disputing the charge. Absolutely STAY AWAY!! This hair stylist is clearly both extremely unprofessional and dangerous. Thanks for making my gf cry and then proceeding to threaten to "beat my a*** Hamedah.

I got my hair done at the salon by JILLIAN and she was absolutely amazing! Where do I even begin? Her personality is so sweet, she keeps you engaged in conversation, listens to what you want and even provides snacks/drinks. She did a balayage for me and it was the best I've ever had by far - it looks so natural and was textured perfectly. 10/10 would recommend!Services: Balayage

Amy Davis did an incredible job on my lip filler today! I came in with my best friend for the "friend discount offer" and I'm so glad we did. I'm really nervous around needles, but Amy talked us through it all and made us feel extremely calm and safe. I immediately trusted her recommendations with everything. She was thorough in her explanations, helped talk us through our main concerns, and is very knowledgeable in her craft. Jane, Amy's medical assistant, was wonderful as well. She texted us the night prior with paperwork and instructions so we could feel prepared upon arrival, and pulled out all the tricks to ease my nerves during the treatment. The two of them were very friendly and personable. I'm super happy with my lip filler and plan to go back again! Thanks ladies :)

I thought I found the right hairstylist after reviewing her Instagram - enhancebykimvi "Kim". According to her profile, she is a "Blonding Specialist". I was looking forward getting my hair colored. As I had natural black hair and wanted to go light. ( please refer to the before picture) I made an 11:30am appointment with Kim a week in advance. I sent her a picture in advanced of what color I wanted for my hair. ( please refer to the "requested"pictures ) I arrived at 11:20am. She asked what do I want to get done. Once again, I showed her the same picture I sent her from a week ago. She said great, then started the bleaching process. After the bleaching process was done, she rinsed my hair and started the "toner" process. After the toner process, she blew dried my hair. The color looked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to what I had requested and showed her. My hair was black!!!???!!! Nothing was changed. I asked her what happened? I asked her why is it so dark and still black?!?! She claimed she left the toner on for too long. She then asked if I have time today or had any plan for the night. Mind you, by that time it was already 4:30pm. I told her I want my hair light, just like the picture. For the second time, she bleached hair again and trying to fix it. Again, I reminded her I wanted to go light. She said "ok, ask no more." By this time, I didn't even get upset with her having my hair to be bleached for the second time. Once again, after the second bleaching, my hair DID NOT turn out how I wanted or requested for. (please refer to the "after" picture). I asked her before she blew dry my hair. Why is my hair is still dark? She said " its wet right now. Wait until I blow dry it." After she was done blow drying my hair, I said to her that's not the color I wanted. Not even close. She argued and said it was. And asked what did I want her to do? She said she couldn't bleach my hair again or else it would fall off. By this time - 7:30pm, I got frustrated and upset. Having spent 8 hours at the salon, hair got bleached twice; the end result was a failure. Kim kept telling me my hair looks beautiful, and just wash it with purple shampoo and my hair would go light. I did not go to a salon to get my hair done and with the hairstylist tells me the purple shampoo would do the job. Kim kept insisting that the color turned out the same as the picture I sent her. I said, let's go and ask someone for a second opinion. Sure enough, the person agreed with me that she didn't give me the color I wanted. Kim said I embarrassed her. Asked me to pay and leave. She took the cover off of me, OMG!!!! She not only bleached my hair twice, she also bleached my shirt!!! And caused a rash on my arm!! (please refer to damaged shirt pictures and rash picture) I told her I wanted to cry. Not only my hair and shirt are damaged, she told me there's nothing she could do for me and asked me to appreciate her service and time. Kim also said she doesn't want to be my hairstylist again. Do you really think I want to go back to her after what she did? Kim, that's not how you are supposed to treat a customer. If you are wrong, admit it. If you can't provide or deliver the service, be honest about it. Don't waste people's time and damage their hair. Day 2 of my experience, hair literally falling off. Breakages are all the way to scalp. I can't even run my fingers through my hair without having chunks of hair falling off.

I have been a client at this salon for quite some years now, one always gets greeted with a friendly smile. The hairdresser is amazing with sports massage which is something a lot of salons do not offer locally. And they have a coffee machine too. So, I personally would highly recommend this beauty salon

Do not make an appointment with "Lexiie Salon Studio" inside Salons by JC. I made an appointment with Lexiie and she asked me to send her a deposit for the appointment, so I venmo'd this to her. The day of my appointment I ended up being sick and messaged her asking to reschedule which she said was fine. When I tried to reschedule my appointment I didn't hear back from her so ended up going to another salon because I needed to get in. Eventually Lexiie messaged me back apologizing because she was sick at the time. Because I got in with another salon, I asked Lexiie for my deposit back over two weeks ago and have not heard back from her even though she has read all my messages. It is one thing to have a policy concerning deposits (if you choose for them to be refundable or not), it's an entirely different thing to completely ignore the messages of a client, especially one who has sent you money. I would not have been upset if Lexiie messaged me back letting me know "sorry, my policy is that the deposit is not refundable", but she has read every single one of my messages sent over the course of over two weeks and has actively chose to not answer me back. I do not know how she plans to continue to run a salon so unethically and so unprofessionally.
