Had a "harbor view" which consisted of the front part and loading dock of a neighboring restaurant. Hotel is sandwiched between this restaurant and a bar across the street, which leads to a noisy atmosphere.Room was clean-ish. Took about 20 minutes to figure out how the AC worked. It was taped up and looked broken, but we eventually got it going.Hotel could use some major touch ups. Tub surround is cracked and moldy. Walls are scuffed, and pain is peeling in many places. We stayed on the second floor and there seems to be a small roof leak that's not been addressed. Lastly while my side of the bed was comfortable, the mattress springs on wife's side seems to be broken, which causes one to roll off in the night if you aren't careful. All of this would be really upsetting if we paid any more than $109 a night.

Ok, this is an older hotel. Rooms were clean quiet and location is right on Fisherman's wharf. Prices are good for the area. The mattress was (sales man beat) that is where the side of the bed near where the telephone had been is completely beat and broken down from hundreds of salesman sitting there talking on the phone. But it was OK. Give this place a new mattress and 5 stars.

Absolutely recommend for those who appreciate quality, value and common sense!! Let get this out of the way first, the rooms are very clean and modernized. No bugs walking around, no cigarette burn marks all over the place, no shady electrical switches or outlets, no funky smells, no nasty stained linens or towels, no tweezers (zombies) walking around the property and no ridiculous price. What you will find is a courteous staff, great location for access to the world famous Fisherman's Landing and others with world class sport fishing boat options. Within 5 minutes of San Diego airport and 10 minutes to Sea World. Beautiful pool and secure parking too. This is a very safe area in my opinion with lots of great options for restaurants, bar and grills to get you through the evening and well within walking distances.

Location was everything. The hotel is conveniently located about a block from the bay front near the water. Stayed here so we could Walk to our Fishing Boat the next morning. There's a pool and a brightly lit parking lot.The staff is nice. Will definitely stay here next time we go Deep Sea Fishing out of Fisherman's Landing.

I took my son in a little vacation to go to Legoland and the zoo. This hotel was inexpensive and had good reviews. I was not disappointed! Free parking, comfortable bed, daily room cleaning (made bed, refreshed towels, etc.). It was a little loud with traffic but when the ac was turned on it made great white noise to block everything out. Lots of restaurants nearby and it was nice to be close to water. The zoo and the whale watching we did were around a 15 minute drive from here and Legoland was around 40 minutes with weekday traffic. All in all I would recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable and inexpensive place to stay.

Very clean cute little hotel! It's newly renovated and is a great little hotel for a vacation in San Diego. It's located near the airport, but you can't hear the planes when you're in the rooms. Lots of local businesses within walking distance, and right near the harbor but does not smell like fish. I used the pool twice during my four night stay and it was great as well as very clean. The staff was super kind and helpful, check in and checkout were smooth. Would definitely recommend!

A hidden gem. Do be aware there is a bar behind it, so may have some evening noise but the location and price make it a good choice. Comfortable beds, clean and nice.

There is nothing “boutique” about this “hotel” (much more of a motel). There was one room on the 2nd floor with the door open all day & night. It was creepy. The walls are super thin and there was no elevator so be prepared to haul luggage up the outside stairs. Location was good, though! And had the best meal of my week in San Diego at the restaurant right behind the hotel.

The people here are great. They we're universally helpful.Given how small the rooms are, they do a good job with the rooms. But the rooms are small, in our room there was no chair, the only place to sit was on the bed.The view out the window was of a parking lot and the boats beyond. The restaurant next door was sometimes loud. I would probably get a view of the pool instead. If you want to be out on the peninsula, this was a nice place, we could walk along the harbor. But for the money you can probably get a better room inland.I am grateful to the people being very helpful with anything we needed.

Had an excellent stay at Sea Harbor Hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location is fantastic. Lots of fun things to do in this area. Doug was super helpful at the front desk. I'll be back.

Staff really great, location really great, way better location than hotel circle. At sea harbor you can walk right out of your room and get dinner at several restaurants within walking distance. The view is kind of obstructed by a restaurant behind it. But you can literally throw a rock from hotel to the harbor boat area. Rooms are nicely renovated. Beds are soft. The only thing I didn’t really like is how small my double queen standard rooms was. If it was bigger I’d give them 5 stars. They don’t charge for parking like many of the hotels on hotel circle do so that is good. You also get a little bit of a break booking two nights or more. Their pet fee is reasonable. Easy in and out hotel. No Schlepping your luggage down a long hall wall. Park right in front of your room.

I came here after a fun journey at Sea World. Its location is very close to the amusement park, and it is close enough to Balboa Park. The room itself is small, and it has a cool theme, the Ocean or sea.I slept well, but I would hear the occasional airplane because we are next to the airport.Unfortunately, the hotel leaves the food, and if you damage, eat, or do anything with the food, then it gets charged to your account, I am not a fan of that, I mean we paid enough for the hotel room.I did however enjoy my stay and I will consider coming back.
