Awesome job upgrading all the Garmin electronics our 2008 Albemarle. Installed two Chartplotter, 275 Transducer, Simrad Auto-pilot, Maretron engine monitoring, batteries, electronics LEDs on the breaker panel, lights, high water alarms, Fantom 24" Radar, Radio and to top it off with AIS. Very happy with these guys and the job they did on our boat! Many items being installed on different systems and it all came together. Toby is the owner and fantastic to work with and extremely knowledgeable. His crew is the best and they all know what they are doing. It was a breath of fresh air doing business with such an honest team!

GO ELSEWHERE, Owner is a liar and can't be trusted.Long story short, I paid $1,840 to have a new chart plotter installed, new radar installed that doesn't work, and new autopilot instaIled that doesn't work. Now I need to find a real electronics installer to fix his screw ups. (Long story) I hired Toby, the owner of Seanet to have all new electronics installed in my boat. He called me and said the electronics were done and the boat was ready for a sea trial so he can show me how everything works. When I get there, my engine (trim) won't go down. They raised the engine so high that it had pinched my wires or something (still have to troubleshoot it). I told him that the engine raised and lowered perfectly before, and he accused me of dropping it off like that. We go for the sea trial and the radar doesn't work. Next we find out the autopilot doesn't work. I'm pretty upset at this point, and he's acting like it's no big deal. He then proceeds to tell me that I'm getting such a great deal and that he's only charging me $2,000. The day prior I called him and told him I needed a total so I can get money from the bank and he says it will be $1,200 because he will be discounting me $840 for a pump he recommended I get, but didn't need. Now overnight, he wants to charge me an extra $800 because supposedly his guys worked a lot of hours on the boat without even talking to me first. He follows me to my truck and asks for the full payment, I told him he's crazy if he expects a full payment for equipment that doesn't work, and that I'll pay him $1,000 now, and the rest when the work is complete and everything works. Looking back I wish I hadn't given him a dime. We got into an argument after he said if I didn't pay him right now, the payment is going to go up. I told him all I wanted was to get my boat completed so I can move on. I later called and emailed him 6 different times to get the work completed before he finally emailed back stating that he is not going to finish the work. He is the biggest scam artist. Please do yourself a favor do not trust this guy to do any of your work. Now I have to hire someone to troubleshoot his work and correct it, who knows how much that's gonna cost.

Finally found a company that knows Maretron system and Furuno touch screen. Thank you! We had two previous companies come down and were not able to help. We found Seanet and not only did they come aboard and resolve our issue they found other items that needed attention and took care of it ALL on the spot. They were super courteous and even took it out for a sea trial so we were confident in the work. Highly recommend the company.

I have never written a review before, however, I felt obligated to finally write after my experience with Toby at SeaNet Electronics so bear with my view. After being out of boating for approximately 6 years I decided to jump back in and purchase a used sailboat which was in dire need of an update of 18 year dated electronics. I had previously rebuilt 2 used boats over 30 years of sailing, but was totally lost on the new radios, radar, autopilots etc. I had no idea where to start and while I was looking around was surprised to find that SeaNet was still in business. After 20 years of using them for my prior rebuilts. This actually happened a year ago, but recently decided I needed to write this review. In 2018 I reconnected with Toby and he walked me through all the new equipment and gave me some pricing and advised me to check other sources which I did. He was competitive with 2 other sources. Of course after 26 years I wasn't sure how their service was. I decided to go with SeaNet hoping I was doing the right thing. So I threw the dice and gave SeaNet the business. Wow, after everything was installed on time and on his price quoted a sea trial was arranged upon completion of new G.P.S., plotters, windlass with remote, radar and some smaller items. On the sea trial and on the boat Toby walked me through all the nuances of all the new equipment one by one. I was pretty impressed! The reason I decided now to write this review was that just recently a year later after the installation I still needed some help on some of the sophisticated use of some of the equipment. I called late in the afternoon and left a message about my needs and my call was returned the next morning at 8:00 a.m. Toby immediately arranged another sea trial at NO CHARGE TOTALING 4 HOURS OF WORK! With professional work and the excellent customer service beyond what I have received from other marine businesses. I need to share my experience to potential customers of SeaNet. I can recommend Toby and SeaNet with no apprehensions. Joe C San Diego

I have been using Seanet Electronics for about 14 years for two different power boats we had. Toby and his team have done an excellent job for us both in making recommendations of what equipment we should by as well as follow up with training and guidance. They are very knowledgeable and nice to work with. I highly recommend them. John A.

I had bought a full suite of Furuno electronic from another company down the street. It turns out that the other company is not an authorized Furuno dealer unlike SeaNet. The other company did not install my electronics to NEMA standards nor Furuno requirements. Thus I had some issues with my Radar. Furuno sent me to SeaNet an authorized Furuno dealer. SeaNet stepped in and fixed my Radar isssue. Plus Tobby gave me a hour of instruction on how to use my electronics. I am very pleased with the work I received from SeaNet. SeaNet is a little pricey but they are well worth it.

We have been delayed heading to Mexico by a faulty HF radio (SSB) Sea Net was supposed to be here but due to a shortage of staff we have been waiting 3 days. The office staff kept referring to our radio as a VHF. Everytime I corrected them everytime and said it was an ICOM802 HF. Today the gentleman on the shop suggested the V had been scraped off. No, it is an HF. I was then advised that they don't have the equipment to work on HF radios. Very frustrating and now we have to find someone else to fix it.
