Went inside for a lottery(quick pick power ball $10 separate tickets). I was the only one in line. No one behind me I no one in front of me. Cashier told me they cannot separate the tickets to be on individual pieces of paper by themselves. This is the only way my superstitious aunt likes them so I explain to him that I get it this way all the time and he said yeah but when there’s a line, we don’t do it, and I said yeah but there’s no line I’m literally the only person in line as one more person walks in behind me. We go back-and-forth just a slight argument, I don’t think he has the authority to change the way the lottery commission sells their tickets. Even if there was a long line, I still should be able to purchase my lottery tickets at the register the way we want some people want all their numbers on one ticket and some want them separated. It’s just a preference thing, if this location says they can’t do that then I don’t think that’s correct and I don’t think they have the authority to change how they sell the lottery .. Someone needs to talk to the older gentleman with the ponytail and let him know that he has to sell the lottery The way the lottery says they sell them on their website and on the website it states you can get them individually. Just a very rude and impatient guy.

Really good food. You can stay longer than most places to catch up with your friends without feeling chased away! Staff friendly and helpful. Very pleasant overall experience.

Shady gas station. Just got out of car wash it literally took 30 seconds to wash and didn't clean my car at all. They also charge money for air . Never coming back here again please stay away from this shady business

Done with this station, my card reads everywhere else every week, but this Shell location. The pump reader never can read my card, I even ordered a replacement card, sometimes it would scan inside at the cashier counter, but neither worked today, so I did a 10 minute detour to another station on Mira Mesa Blvd (Mobil or Chevron) right past the post office and the card worked the first swipe. Fix your card readers or update them Mira Mesa Shell.

Saw a homeless dude outside and instead of kicking him out or giving him some spare change, an employee (I believe his name was Todd) welcomed him in the store and proceeded to let the him pick out anything he desired… FOR FREE!! The homeless man walked out with at least 5 gallons of candy, a couple six packs of Bang energy drinks, and 50 lottery tickets. He actually ended up winning $2000 from the scratch offs! What a great gas station.
