The attendant is rude. After pumping gas, my kids & I walked in the store to grab snacks. The attendant was assisting another customer at the register.. once he was done he started raising his voice at my kids telling them they had no manners because they didn’t greet him when we walked in, yet he didn’t greet us either, which is HIS job! Weirdo behavior. Won’t be coming back here again.

Had a flat tire and they did not let me use the air withou purchasing gas, i proceeded and filled my car with 10c of gas, they still did not let me use the freaking air machine, dont give business to this kinda of people, a underfilled tire is a safety matter, only gas station that ive ever been in my life that does not provide you free air, i even purchased gas and was told i would have to pay for air, insane

The worst gas station I have ever been to, the people who serve are shameless, to name a certain Ed who helped me when I bought a soft drink with a 5 bill, he did not give me my change, and I told him how much it cost, he told me the price but he still didn't give me my change, so I told him I don't want it, he gave me money back (change) where it says it's a “refund” on the receipt, I don't speak much English, but I understand a lot and it wasn't a misunderstanding, because Of course on the receipt it says that it is a “refund” I was charging for 2 sodas, I told him that I had already told him that I didn't want the soda and he didn't give me back my full $5, and he answered me in a bad way saying “it wasn't my stupid ", that he didn't make returns and that he took the soda, what kind of cashier talks like that to a customer "I wonder", I had to pay for gas because I didn't have it but in my life I will enter that business again... I hope and the Owner take more care who he hires. And if this Ed is the owner, “sir, you are not fit to have a business like that” the customers are well served, I have been a loyal customer of the Shell gas station on Via de la Valle, and I really love going to this one. gas station, all the employees and the owner are loving people.

For starters I would take my money down the street to Arco. The P.O.S workers think too highly of themselves. The think they have the right to come talk to anyone the way they want, if they don’t like their job they should look for a different line of work. You work at the gas station for crying out loud.

Top 3 most expensive gas station in San Diego County! Why would anyone go here!!!??? $7.09 on 9/26/2023. ARCO next to it is 50-70 cents cheaper per gallon. Don't go here!

Last night I regretted EVER buying anything from this gas station. It was past 7pm and I walked inside and asked the attendant if he could please turn on the air pump for me, only to be met with “you can pay with credit card” BY LAW he is to turn on the air pump regardless if I can pay or not. I asked politely and pondered if I should tell him by law he is to turn it on for me. I decided it wasn’t worth my time nor energy so I drove the next block over to the Arco/AMPM. Same drill but the attendant at this place was nice and with a smile turned on the air pump for me. I got air in my tire and went back in and gladly offered to buy him anything he wanted from the store as a token of gratitude. Sometimes it’s not about the money but the service experience, and this Shell gas station def does not know customer service if it hit them in the face NOR THE LAW because they broke it last night.

2nd time getting smog checked here. Came in (no apt) and the guy was super awesome. They were able to take me right as I drove in and even let me use the $10 coupon online.
