I was recommended to this company by my friend for overseas vehicle shipping for a military PCS. Im genuinely trying to figure out what Gary’s issue is and I see he’s had negative reviews before. I was trying to ship my vehicle from California to Bahrain. I submitted a request for two quotes because I thought the other one didn’t go through. One came up for $2600 and another for $5800 but I’m fairly certain I did both the same. I contacted ship overseas just to inquire where I may have possibly went wrong and what is the correct price and all I got from Gary was there is no service to Bahrain from California. Then why offer it on your site then? If there is currently no service then when is the next one or is it gone for good? Like if I’m trying to do business you then at least provide some future guidance or something at least rather than you just don’t do it when it’s clearly listed on the site. Why generate the quote and send it to me from California to Bahrain if you don’t provide services for it? What was the point of that?

We recommend Shipoverseas for their top-notch international shipping services. They transported our Mazda 6 from California to Galveston, Texas, and onward to Derince, Turkey. The entire process was smooth, with the car arriving in perfect condition within few months. Jack, Gary, and Miron our contacts at the company, provided prompt communication and timely updates throughout. Their accessibility in addressing any concerns were valuable. With this positive experience, we plan to be regular customers!

This company is terrible at logistics and customer service. I do not recommend shipping anything through it, especially vehicles. They gave me a horrible experience in terms of shipping a load with it that was super expensive, in addition to causing problems with my calendar. They don't inform you about anything they do, I remember that they called me the last day that I could take the cargo to the port so I had to interrupt my work to run to the port to take the cargo because Mr. Ricardo wouldn't let me know. I inform them when my deadline was so I can make a calendar so as not to work under pressure. Once the cargo arrives in Santo Domingo, they do not inform me that it has arrived, apart from that they did not want to release the cargo and on the last day they tell me that I have to pay for some BLs, something that they had not mentioned to me, then my cargo exceeds the time limit parked at the port and then they charge me extra parking for the time exceeded. They are thieves and scammers. They come out with last-minute payments and you have to make them because if not, they won't release your burden. Agent Ricardo and the stupid and lying Alicia López are terrible at service. They shouldn't even provide services to clients. The only thing they are efficient about is taking my shipping payment, so if they called me and made me the invoice quickly and without any inconvenience, as if that is the only thing they care about.

Nasty, Incompetent People Failed Customer 4 TimesI am typically a very positive, easy going, non-critical, flexible person. But I just have to warn others that my dealings with this company in trying to ship a car from the US to Costa Rica was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with any business.1) The information, logistics, pricing they gave me was constantly changing in very significant ways. Example: my drop off point was 1st Long Beach, CA, then San Jose, CA, then Freeport, TX! 1st it was to be shipped in a shared container, then a private container, and lastly trucked uncovered to TX. The pricing changed each time.2) I tried and tried to communicate I needed at least 2 days advance notice of the pickup appointment because I live 4 hours from the agreed upon pickup point and can't just disconnect from my clients and run. But out of the blue... I kept getting calls from angry truck drives saying they were at the pickup spot (Now!) and where was I?. I had to repeatedly explain their call was the 1st I'd heard of an appointment being made, and urged them to complain to Ship Overseas.3) Miron the owner and Kendra the coordinator, despite constantly changing their information to me, were nasty and completely inflexible of my needs as a customer. They have 1 approach, take it or leave it. And if you don't like it.. Go F' yourself. Nice.4) All I asked was 2 days advanced email notice of the pickup appointment. We tried 4 times, and not once did I get notified of a pick up appointment. But you bet, within hours AFTER each missed appointment (and angry drivers call), Kendra would send me an email nasty gram scolding me for not making the appointment (What appointment Kendra?!).5) I was trying to ship my car to Costa Rica ASAP because it is a donation to a Costa Rican friend whose business urgently needed the money. Thanks to Ship Overseas, 2 months was wasted and I still have the car. And now, we're facing December which is basically closed to business in CR shipping for the entire month. These people are brainless and crude. Find another carrier and spare yourselves the delay and aggravation.Date of experience: November 17, 2023

We shipped our vehicle from Hawaii to Belgium. We contacted several companies online. Miron from Ship Overseas was the first to get back to us. This was our first time shipping a vehicle internationally and we had no idea what the entire process was going to be like. Some of the reviews we read said the company wasn't very responsive or communicative. We had quite the opposite experience. Miron communicated with us every step of the way. Communication was extremely important to us as this was quite a complicated process. Miron answered all our questions and provided all necessary details of the process. He was also very upfront with the fees and even advised us of what fees to expect here in Belgium. Our car made it to Belgium on schedule without any hassle. Miron's contact here in Belgium was also very thorough. I recommend Miron from Ship Overseas 100%.

Highly recommended. Paul, Miron, and team were very thorough/detail oriented. It was my first time having a car shipped from Europe which I purchased. He made sure I had all the paperwork needed. They also arranged transportation both to and from the ports.

Wouldn’t recommend this company to nobody, the lack of communication its unbelievable, thanks to the lack of communication I couldn’t send my car to the Dominican Republic and now have to see other options, not just that ricardo charge me 300 for cancelation, when he rescheduled my shipment 3 times!!!!

Horrible service !!! DONT DO IT !! " I told you the only day I cannot deliver the car to the port is May 22nd - that's the only day you have given me. I've tried to reach you yesterday, many many times, and I have left voicemail messages, you didn't answer or called me back. I reached on my own and contact all the people in hand and spoke with the shipment company, KLine directly as well. The cut off day is the 26, I spoke with Jerry from Trans Global as well and she said that she directed you that the cut off day is on the 25th... I spent 4 hours on the phone jumping hoops with A1 Escort, Ceres Terminal port, KLine and trans Global to get the information I need. I have to be honest that I am very disappointed of the service you are providing it's inefficient and misleading. Did you really expect me to be able to jump to drive 5 hours to deliver the car without any notice??? Shame on you. " That's the email I've sent them, in response I received a bill for $312. I would not come close !

Don't Bother. Having to worry about customs and cost and everything else that can go wrong with shipping your vehicle overseas is enough. To minimize these frustrations use another shipping service. When you email for a quote and the information they are giving you contradicts the most basic information on their site or quote page then that is the first sign that there will complications. You read the website in hopes that you are getting as much information as possible to absorb, to insure you comprehend enough to do your part. When you get your quote and happen to have questions, you will find the answer they give you contradict some of what you thought you knew from their website and their quote document. Then, when you reiterate where you got your conflicting information from; their quote, they simply repeat their email version over, to circumvent the quote or website version. So either take new notes or move on. If not you have to worry, if something goes wrong, who to blame. A good business is in line with its marketing material and customer. You should never have to question the integrity of business for a service that is so costly. Their professionalism will give you confidence. I thought it best to move on.

We highly recommend Shipoverseas services! Not only are they specialized in shipping gas/diesel motor operated cars but also specialize in shipping EV vehicles as well. We used there International shipping services to ship a 2022 Porsche Taycan to Dubai. The car arrived in less than a month in perfect shape, same as leaving our location. We worked with both Jack and Gary, both were great communicating and providing a timely status update. We will definitely be a regular customer! Thank you Jack and Gary!

I feel bad as I see a lot of people writing bad comments about this company. I've NEVER had a problem with them. NEVER.(Regarding the negative reviews..)Ship overseas is not an insurance provider, but rather a shipping company -- you must make sure to get insurance when shipping your vehicle so that no damages occur to it. They don't own the ship, nor workers, and of course as a result cannot guarantee the people on the ship won't damage your car.ShipOverseas is my go-to when I have to ship my cars. Which sounds funny to say, but I've actually shipped my car multiple times with them.Jack, one of the agents and owner is always very helpful, and does a great job of putting in trust in clients by making sure you understand the process in detail.I've transported my CLA45 AMG from the US to Belgium, without a problem, and have shipped it back, and am now buying a new car and shipping it back! You could say I'm somewhat of a (very happy) repeat customer – Photos for reference!
