“The location where Unleashed was 4 years ago now houses a homegrown Fitness gym. The first location of that gym is by the OLD VONS.

I like the selection of businesses and the ample parking. I seriously miss the pet store Unleashed, hence only 4 stars.”

“One of the most famous plazas in San Diego because it is close to the border crossing, it is a store where you can find clothing, appliances, jewelry, footwear and food. My experiences have been very good since I have been going to that plaza for 20 years and I wouldn't change it for anything.”

“This mall is extremely convenient with a trolley station at walking distance. It’s not so pretty to look at from the outside but once you enter it’s pretty nice. A GREAT variety of stores and plenty of food options. The people are friendly. I highly recommend this mall for your shopping needs.”

“Summer concerts in the park at Carmel Mountain Plaza are a relaxing and fun way to meet your neighbors. The band sets up on the sidewalk in front of Barnes and Noble. There is outside seating (tables/chairs/umbrellas/retaining wall) but many bring their own folding chairs or picnic blankets (for the grass). It's an enjoyable evening eating a picnic dinner, listening to the music and watching the sunset. Some are even moved to dance on the impromptu dance floor on the sidewalk.”

“Food is great! Kudos to the chef! Taking 1 star off because of lady manning the front, taking orders, serving drinks. She gave our drinks with smears of ketchup on our drink cups and cup cover. Not sure if intentional or just doesn't seem to care.”

“I recently visited Del Mar Highlands Town Center and had a fantastic experience. This shopping center has a great mix of high-end retail stores, diverse dining options, and entertainment. The center is clean, well-maintained, and family-friendly, with plenty of parking available. It’s a vibrant community hub that I’ll definitely visit again!”

“A Cozy and Elegant Retreat

One Paseo Plaza is a charming and cozy spot in town, offering a fantastic environment that blends elegance with relaxation. The design is eye-catching, with its white walls, red brick accents, and thoughtfully placed art murals that add a unique touch to the overall aesthetic. The plaza is filled with green spaces, and there are designated dog relief areas, making it a perfect place for walking your dog while enjoying the surroundings. Plenty of seating is available around the greenery, offering a comfortable space to sit and take in the atmosphere.

The shops in the plaza are high-end, catering to those looking for upscale shopping in a relaxed, beautifully designed setting. The parking structure is spacious with plenty of spots, and the view from the top of the 3rd floor adds a nice bonus to your visit.

Whether you're here for a quick shopping trip, a bite to eat, or simply to enjoy the scenery with your dog, One Paseo Plaza provides the ideal setting for casual and upscale leisure.”

“I go here for Vons, prescription refills at CVS and the occasional weak moment for maple covered doughnuts at Krispy Kreme. Very utilitarian mall. Some good restaurants, Starbucks, Jamba Juice. The French bakery and breakfast place is awesome. Everything is good there and reasonably priced”

“Good place to go to get whatever stuff you need but good lord the parking lot is a mess, especially at the exit over by trader Joe's, so 4 stars. People drive really stupid in this parking lot cause right of way doesn't make sense and there's a lot of weird 3 and 5 way intersections. The Hawaiian bbq place is super nice”

“I like that Google Maps has a separate listing for "Costco Parking Lot", because that's all that's here. There's actually geney parking if you're willing to walk. On the weekends sometimes you have to park behind the Costco.”

“Old Town is a destination in itself. We love to go walk the shops & enjoy something to eat. This the we ate at Coyote Cafe best food in my opinion there & the tortillas are to die for! They have a new park at entrance or Old town that is very beautiful.”

“One of my favorite spots in San Diego.

A small plaza but it has what you need for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just go out for a drink!

It's like a small village town square.
The only thing, they close very early, but that's due to the nature of the area (family oriented, go home to get ready for tomorrow kinda area).”

“The best place to visit in this plaza is "The Classic Malt Shop" with Jeff and Ferris. Everyone is treated like family, a valued customer, and a life-long friend. The menu serves various foods to satisfy any appetite, and you MUST order a delicious shake, malt, float, or an ice cream cone. This is a great place for a family night out, except on Sundays - when they're closed.”

“There is good reason why Rancho Bernardo was rated by Zillow as California's fourth friendliest city. Shops, markets and restaurants are filled with friendly staff and great experiences.”

“This is one of the boring and malls in San Diego, CA I need to bring back the cheap food court there they need to take out some of the high-end restaurants there. Keep outback steakhouse. The best thing in the mall is the AMC movie theater and Michael's there is a thrift store type of store I don't like the store because you have to pay with card no cash. They should bring a music & DJ store there in the mall that be awesome.”

“Baron's is a much appreciated alternative to the bland uniformity of the Ralphses and Vonses (that actually sounds funny - ralphses snd vonses and bears, o my!) and the excesses of places like Bezos Foods. Even though I am probably not the best judger of prices, to me, their prices seem very reasonable. Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh. They have items you would likely not find in regular supermarkets, they have a wonderful self-serve deli section, and their selection of pastries and cookies is superb. As a croissant snob, I highly appreciate them making Bred&Cie products available daily. I wish they had opened a store on the top of the hill when Fresh and Easy closed years ago.”
