Didn't stay here but the bar was excellent! There was a middle aged male bartender that was absolutely the best! Hard worker and so friendly. Provided amazing service! Drinks were great and food as well!

Popped over here after the Padres baseball tour with my bf visiting from France and we loved it ? Great cocktails, great service and delicious appetizers. We will definitely be back next time we’re in SD.Food & drinks: The cocktails were delicious and we got the chips and guac but changed out the chips for chicharrones. So delicious ?

I brought my person pillow with me for the stay. After spending a day out I came back to my room and saw my pillow on the floor. House keeping made my bed and left my pillow on the floor?! Sorry if I sound petty, but personal pillow is a very PERSONAL item like a toothbrush. No one would like to see their toothbrush touching the floor right? If housekeeping forgot to pickup my personal pillow from the floor, I’d rather they don’t make the bed at all.To be fair, the hotel was fine on other aspects.

It was a very cute hotel, the rooms were clean, and the location was perfect for tourists. When I contacted the front desk because my room had not been cleaned, they responded immediately, and when I pointed out that there was a slight discrepancy in the bill at checkout, they immediately processed the refund, and as a result, I stayed without any problems. I was able to finish. I want to stay here again.

I think is is a crime to charge customers staying at your hotel $60.00 for overnight parking.

The room was nice and there was everything we needed but the room was not made up and when we asked there was no one left. At the reception they promised us a discount for the poor service which I didn't see.

Excellent hotel. We love the location and the courtesy of the staff. The room was spacious, clean, and well-decorated. We had plenty of towels, a hairdryer, and an iron. The TV is big, but with a few channels to choose from, but who needs them when a lot is happening in downtown San Diego? The hotel's location is excellent: many cafes, restaurants, bars, and shopping stores.

Probably one of the best places considering value for money we stayed during our holiday. It’s close to the Gaslamp Quarter so may not suit everyone but the rooms are clean, coffee available and valet parking on site. It looks it’s been recently renovated and we liked the pacific theme.

Great location and staff. The manager, Jim, treated us like royalty.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We booked this hotel because pets stay free. That was a huge bonus for us. It was well rated and the location is pretty central.Parking overnight at the hotel is $60usd/night which is quite costly on top of the cost of the stay. The rooftop hotel patio and pool was fantastic and gave a resort vibe which we enjoyed. The rooms could use a few more/better amenities: better/larger fridge, a microwave and some simple dishes in the room would be nice.Overall, we would stay again and do recommend this hotel.

First time staying at the Margaritaville chain, the Caribbean Island theme is OK, Landshark restaurant and a coffee shop on site. It is kind of weird being in downtown but calling itself a resort and not quite by the beach. It is basically in the middle of a bunch of bars. Very close to Petco Park in the Gaslamp Quarters. The hotel has had some work done to it, mixture of old and new. We are staying in 835 corner King, the room is very clean, love the hardwood floor and soft beds, there are wireless chargers by the bed but super slow. There is a mandatory daily resort fee about $30 but the WiFi is slow, and that is on top of your room fees. There is construction going on in the buildings, starts at 745am everyday without fail, good thing we are in PST. Made the complaint to the lobby manager, nothing. Probably won't come back to this location again.
