they don't make drinks properly. they find the easy way in making refreshers, just throw it together in the cup. they have shakers for a reason. shaking a refresher is what makes it refreshing!! i also asked and paid for extra caramel drizzle and didn't get it. when i commented on it she took my drink back and just put it in another cup with a line of caramel.. it had vanilla sweat cream foam so i wasn't able to enjoy it when she mixed it into another cup. she also seemed upset.. if you made my drink wrong why give us attitude especially because i was very polite and just wanted my drink made right! i work for a starbucks inside a Vons so i know how my drink should taste and look.

Not a fan of the walk-up window format; prefer somewhere climate controlled to work on my laptop. Fortunately, Better Buzz just opened around the corner to, among other things, address this shortcoming.

I really hate this location. Service is really mixed. Sometimes you get a really nice employee who gets the drinks out really fast and sometimes you get the worst employee who is super slow. A lot of times the employee will make the drink and leave it on the back counter and forget the drink and then you are waiting forever for your drink and you have to get the employee's attention and it turns out they completely forgot about your drink. Today the employee was not only slow, but she kept stopping to talk to come customers which took even longer. They also got my mom's drink order wrong. I had a problem with my app not automatically scanning the 1/2 off drink offer and she was so rude about it. She thought I was lying when I said that I did not use the offer yet. I went to another location and they were able to manually apply the offer. That location was much nicer. This is a pick-up and drive through location so I don't know if that affects the service. They seem more stressed out and overworked here. Do not ever come to this location. Go to a regular starbucks. This location is the worst in san diego.

This Starbucks is actually such trash it's incredible. Having 9 baristas working in a Starbucks with 10 cars in the drive thru and 7 people waiting for a mobile order and instead of acknowledging anyone, one single barista stands at the pick up window entertaining a lady pitching a fit about her order, upon which time instead of just saying okay and remaking the order, the barista stands there attempting to litigate this woman's coffee order before finally offering to remake the drink. Love that for her. Great. Except that instead of giving anyone else their drinks, she walks away and casually picks up, reads, and sets down several empty cups, proceeds to go remake the woman's drink at a glacial pace, and lets the accumulating crowd of people waiting for mobile orders stand there staring at our melting drinks through the window. Lmao then, when approached about it, another barista offers to "just cancel your mobile order" if you don't have time to stand there and watch them not make your coffee at 7:45 am on a Tuesday. It honestly must be nice to have a career that affords you the opportunity to not do your job with no consequences, and they'll even pay for your college degree!

I usually come here all the time in the morning before work & Lupe is the best, very polite, greets you with good vibes . When it comes to the other baristas... Catherine is rude. I ordered through mobile app, and it didn't seem to come up on their end so I was waiting and ordered again, I asked her if my order did go through, she completely ignored me and asked the person behind me if they had a mobile pick up, grabbed their drink and gave it to them. So i knocked on the window & said "did it go through?" & she ignored again. She takes someone's order that just got there, when I've been waiting for at least 10 mins now. Then finally I asked her again and said it went through. ABOUT TIME!!!

Went through the drive through and had to prompt the girl working it to take my order after waitng a couple min. Got to the window and paid for my food and she gave me attitude cause I didn't tip. I asked for a fork and she snapped at me telling me they don't give forks out with food and they aren't free. Well that chubby little employee just ran a customer off for good.

This location is special in that it's mainly a drive thru, but with a walk-up counter. I ordered through the walk-up counter and it just took forever. Lol. Plus one for the bathroom. Good looking

This place sucks the line is long as frick my brother has been waiting 46 minutes just to get one single coffee, I'm definitely not coming back here anytime soon the drinks and food here are shitty the food is sloppy the service is sloppy the drinks is sloppy whenever I come here they don't even have the items I fucking want, the place doesn't even look nice the service sucks the everyone here was cutting in line and it took 1 hour to get my FUCKING drink and my drink was spilt and ugly as fuck if it doesn't taste good I'm literally gonna die.
