I got a 3 dollar sandwich for 6 bucks and I tipped and got out of the shopping center before I realized there was no straw for my drink. Turned around to get one (it's 5am nothing else is open so no where else to get a straw) they saw me grab it and didn't even apologize for leaving that and napkins out of the bag.Idk maybe I'm just sensitive

Rude and disappointing customer service at Starbucks on 17135 Camino Del Sur, San Diego, CA 92127I am a regular customer at Starbucks on 17135 Camino Del Sur, San Diego, CA 92127. It closes at 8 PM in the evening. About 7:10 PM a barista shut down the restroom. Several customers (including me) asked to use the restroom but she rudely retorted that it was shut down for the day for cleaning. However, she was not cleaning it even when I left at 7:30 (she was outside). I told the manager (name is Jesse) that this was inconveniencing customers who were drinking liquids (including coffee which is a diuretic!).He simply shrugged and took no action. The lack of proactive and adaptive response to an unnecessary situation is disappointing. There are several ways of handling restroom cleaning which (in my observation) does not require more than 10-15 minutes. Maybe close one restroom at a time and/or let customers know when it is going to be shut down etc... Frankly the shop and the restroom should be open until closing time unless stated explicitly outside as company policy. Regardless, there is no excuse to be rude or discourteous with the customers.

Great service, so so many smiles everywhere. Idk if they love their job but with all the smiles I know they love customer service. I asked for turkey white egg sandwiche, was soggy bread, they remade it once then redid the heating part 2x. I wasn't mad or bothered they were patient and didn't make me feel like I was a problem. Great customer service and experience. Great way to start off the morning before work. Def have morning ppl for early morning coffee establishments. Happy overall. I'll be posting pics later.

They had an onslaught in the AM and were so backed up. They were all working so hard. Long drive through. Tons of customers. I left without coffee but came back later in the day and they apologized and honored my earlier order. Thanks!

I come to this Starbucks often, I live near this shop. I come in and sit sometimes. I see how hard they work to fulfill everyone's orders, they work fast. Sure at times Ive had an Issue with my order, but they're more then willing to fix my drink for me. A simple mistake fixed. I see that there is a recent review. My recommendation is to have more patience for yourself and others. Remember that you're not the only customer. And remember that a Decaf Americano comes by brewing a special espresso roast, which gives the drink a similar taste to the coffee that comes from regular brewing. In the decaffeination process, there will be a small amount of caffeine that would be left in the coffee beans. It would be best if you made a switch from coffee to tea if you're having the jitters. I had a very bad experience here today 6/12/23 around 4:50pm. The girl with short wavy brown hair with glasses was condescending. I asked for her name and she said it was Tatiana but I am not sure if she is telling the truth. The blond guy that took my order around 4:30pm was seemingly nice but he got my order wrong. I ordered a decaf americano instead I got a regular coffee. I can tell as soon as I drink regular coffee as I start getting jittery right away. I went back to Starbucks to get my decaf instead of regular coffee and Tatiana, if that is her name, called me "my dear" in a condescending manner when I asked them to fix their mistake. Then I told them I had dairy allergy and I would like them to top off the decaf coffee with oat milk. I am sure they intentionally put dairy in my coffee because I am feeling sick. Instead of owning up to their mistake in a genuine apologetic manner, I was greeted in a condescending and rude way. Then they intentionally used dairy in their product to make their customer sick. Management needs to get involved in training the employees to be ethical so there aren't future incidences like this with other customers.

I prefer this location over Target. The staff are friendly and fast despite how busy they become.
