This is a tiny little shop in the gas station, but the food is still delicious.The only weird thing about this place was when I was paying the employee quickly said I’m gonna steal your points if you don’t mind, I could barely even respond before she had already entered her number and then she asked you didn’t have a number did you? It was funny, but it just caught me off guard.Also, I can’t believe it cost me about 30+ dollars for two foot-long’s chips and drinks . I miss the old days of five dollar foot-longs

A few seconds ago I was in this place that practically put me in a bad mood and ruined my day of eating a sandwich ? on the beach, the two women who are serving on 04/26/2024 at 2:00pm are truly useless, they are talkative. The service is so lousy and they go at it for you, as if it were a competition of words, they have no professional ethics in their field of work and then they don't even know how to prepare a sandwich, they don't know the prices, well anyway I could tell you everything I discussed with those ordinary women, who brought out my pro side ??♀️ surely you don't want to come to this place to ruin your day, look for other options maybe it's better... the restaurant managers should train a little your employees and don't put anyone into customer service! Since they are the image of the restaurant…

Came to this subway at 8:30pm they close at 9. The chick inside refused to make anything!!! Just because she wanted to close already she even had the lights off. As soon I was about to leave the parking lot someone else walked in. And they turned the lights back. Very unprofessional!

Ordered thru the app cuz they offered a BOGO deal, order delivered INCOMPLETE... Missing 2 bags of chips that we paid for. So,got my free sandwich but paid for 2 bags of chips NOT received(and paid a delivery fee, a driver tip, and several other fees). Tried calling the location REPEATEDLY and no one ever answered. Literally called 12 times in a row and each time...ring ring ring and eventually it just hangs up on me...with NO ONE ever picking up. I'll go back to Sandbox Pizza for my sandwiches from now on...this experience was such a disappointment.

AVOID THIS LOCATION LIKE THE PLAUGE. THEY NEVER ARE IN STOCK WITH WHAT YOU WANT, THE LINES ARE TOO LONG AND THE SANDWICHES LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE OTHERS FROM THE OTHER LOCATIONS AND THEY TOULK DOWN THE PROMO CODES TO TOP IT OFF. HORRIBLE STAFF. IF YOU ORDER EARLY THEIR STILL LATE ON YOUR FOOD 90% OF THE TIME. CMON MAN GET IT TOGETHER, ITS JUST SANDWICHES.

Great location but severely understaffed between 10:30 am and 1pm. Only one employee to take orders, start sandwiches, restock trays, and cashier. I feel bad for the online order people. Oh, and don't believe the labor shortage excuse. This location has been understaffed for the last 8 years I have been coming to La Jolla. It's a systemic problem. They overwork/over expect their employees so there is a high turnover.

Food was great, ingredients were fresh and delicious. We arrived in a group, unfortunately we were unable to sit together because the employees children were taking up the only booth seating. I understand sometimes you have to bring your kids to work, but maybe next time ask them to stick to one table rather than the up half the lobby. Daycare in here. Pretty sure both working employees have children running around the lobby, crazy!

The sub I had was horrible first off they where out of almost all the bread types. And it was only 10am in the morning seems like the service at this location was also bad ? the food tasted bad I literally wasted $15

We were super duper impressed how Robert handled customers orders. It was a Sunday and the line was super long. I noticed Robert was the only one at the counter, taking orders, prepared sandwiches, also the cashier, with a perpetual smile. Robert was cool, calm, and collective. I do believe in energy of a food preparer transfering to eaters, and sure enough, I have eaten at Subways quite often, and the sandwiches never tasted that delicious as today. Thank you, Robert. Keep up smiley face. Hohoho Merry Merry Christmas.

I went inside to order food and asked if I could use the restroom before I eat. the employee told me that I'd need a key. I asked her if she could lend me one, and she told me that she had cleaned the bathroom a few minutes ago and that nobody could use it. They don't close for another hour? The employee wasn't very nice either
