We found this place by chance while walking along the water. There was a long line to wait, but we ended up with seats overlooking the water. They don't have everything, but it's a welcome treat during a long walk.

I went here after a run with my friend and this place has the best ambiance with many picnic tables, umbrellas and Mission Bay views.I ordered a small hot latte ($6.77 with random surcharge + tax) and my friend got a large dirty chai (~$8.50). The coffee came out super fast but it barely tasted like there was coffee in the milk. My friend used to be a barista and asked if they did 1oz or 2oz espresso pours, which they said 1oz. So keep in mind you’re paying for a very expensive drink with minimal coffee.Later that day we realized both of us weren’t feeling well and had gotten food poisoning from Superbloom. It was the only thing we ate together and every other meal was standard. I tried to call the shop to let them know but there was no answer and no answering machine.TLDR- come for the vibes not the expensive and weak coffee

This is my favorite coffee shop in San Diego!! Love love love meeting girlfriends for a coffee and walk at the bay, and his place is just so adorable I never want to leave. I've also brought my laptop and worked frome their wifi in the past, too, which was a great experience. They have a really nice bathroom, too. If you live in SD, you know how bad public restrooms can be at the beaches. I love the Matcha Chai! Nice job Super Bloom.

Love this place the spirit of aloha is refreshing and the rose black tea is amazing but don’t get the April spritz. These kids don’t know what they are doing. They put orange juice in it I think to cover up the terrible Prosecco. They remade it and it was still bad. Had a cheap sherbet flavor like they use off brand Aperol or some orange syrup. Worst Aperol Spritz I’ve ever had. Just don’t order that.Dietary restrictions: I wish they had real gluten free options. They should stock gf focaccia. The kale salad was pretty bad.

I can only share a ride around. I joined a group and was going for my first meetup. The drive by gave me a good feel because of the ambience of the area. I would love to stop one day. Mindfulness is the name of the group. It’s fitting.

You can’t get a latte with regular milk here, but they still offer half and half for the drip coffee..? Either have no milk products or have them all. Annoying that I can’t order one of the most basic coffee items, a regular latte with whole milk. Baristas are definitely not hired based on workplace competence either. Been here 6 or so times and I have always been less than impressed. Good location and clean tho

We love the location ! Great spot to sit and sip or snack and take in the bay view.So glad they've finally made something of this spot. And so glad they've added wine and food.

The food was good, the coffee drinks had the milk a bit too hot, but it took over 50 min to get a sandwich and charcuterie plate to go. They seemed to have plenty of staff but were incredibly slow in getting our order out.

Way too expensive for drip coffee ($5 for 16oz); barista didn't even know what type it was. I passed on coffee because of this. Tea (for my wife) was ok but not high quality. The location is of course quite beautiful and probably the reason they charge so much. They also add a 3.5% surcharge that I wasn't aware of. It was probably hidden somewhere on the menu.

Be prepared to wait. Stood in line to order for about 30 minutes. Then a 30 minute wait for toasts. The view is great, but you’d also get that from the bike path. Lots of free range kids. Toast was bland. Latte was supposed to be minty and it was more like a candy cane sneezed on it, rather than there actually being any flavor in the drink.

I have been here a few times with mom friends since it has a nice outdoor area with plenty of seating. Coffee is good, but the toasts were lacking IMO. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning or recommending this place. When we went it was raining and the tables were wet so we set a blanket under an umbrella with our four (not mobile) babies. We all bought coffee/food. About 30 minutes in, the owner approached us and told us he’s been trying to “think of a nice way to tell families not to turn this place into a playground,” but basically couldn’t…. Mind you the place wasn’t busy and he could have just asked us to not block the side pathway if that was really the issue. We wrote him an email expressing our concern with how he spoke to us but didn’t receive a reply. Seems like he has more of an issue with families with young kids than anything. Really left us feeling upset and we ended up cutting our visit short since we didn’t feel comfortable staying there anymore. Super unfortunate situation.Kid-friendliness: Owner is not kid friendly….
