Tanglez is the best salon in San Diego. After moving from NYC to San Diego, 10 years ago, it seemed like I would never find a hair artist who stays up-to-date with the latest trends, products, and tools industry while providing the highest quality of services. I finally found Megan who is not only an amazingly talented cosmetologist; she is also a fellow female business owner in San Diego. As a business owner myself, I know how hard it is to build a sustaining business in San Diego. Megan treats her staff and customers with the utmost respect and support. I am so happy that I have met Megan, and she keeps my hair looking great!

Highly recommend Tanglez and Megan -- she's amazing. She's patient, thorough, and very talented (plus she gives the best blowout). I recently made an appt but wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my hair and Megan knew exactly what would look good with my skin tone, etc. After each appointment, I leave very happy with the result!

I had an amazing experience at this salon! My hair was in very bad shape to start, but Megan worked miracles! She managed to create a stunning blonde while also maintaining the integrity of my hair. The salon itself is cute and laid-back, and the staff is super friendly. I was truly blown away by the results!

I've been going to Tanglez for the past two years and have always received amazing service. Megan is great at what she does. She listens attentively to my requests and cuts my hair exactly as I imagined! I have referred a few friends to Tanglez and they rate their experience very highly as well.

Loved my visit for the 1st time today with the super friendly, and super educated Lauren! I had a keratin treatment done and decided to take a chance and try a new spot with a new person and I am so happy that I did. I highly recommend Lauren if anybody is looking for a stylist who specializes in straightening techniques as well as other services. I will definitely be back!

I'm so glad I found this salon and found a hairdresser who I'm definitely going to be remaining loyal to! I came in with a horrible mess with my hair. I have always been blonde and had dyed my own hair a rose gold mixed with wine color... it was embarrassing and a disaster! I can't believe how Megan transformed me into a brilliant brunette with only using toner. I'm obsessed with this brown look and am finally satisfied with how my hair looks! She is a real professional and incredibly skilled colorist. I love how comfortable I felt right away i knew I was in good hands! I won't be seeing anyone else ever again for my hair. Blown away! Happiest girl in town.

Lauren was an amazing stylist!!! I haven't gone to the salon in 7 years bc my granny always did my hair and going made me so anxious. Lauren was so good at making me feel welcome and my anxiety immediately left at the start! She is also SO GREAT at hair y'all. One of the women getting their hair done came up to us and said my hair was gorgeous like it should be on Pinterest. YALL that's the best compliment I've ever gotten and it's all thanks to Lauren Lauren-Elizabeth Gomez yall, couldn't recommend enough!! she got me in within two days just before my trip next week! She's new so she's got tons of availability, but that's gonna get filled once people start finding her. Coming back for a trim in 6 months! Or maybe sooner for a good balayage

Extremely disappointed...my daughter went to get her hair curled for prom. The stylist curled it and after she brushed it out, it was basically straight. She curled it some more. The curls were not what she expected. Lesson learned if you want your hair curled do it yourself. When we got in the car, my daughter said is this a joke?? I feel so bad she has to rush and re-curl her hair. It was a waste of time and money. Especially on a big night like prom. The stylist was nice, but this is not the place to go for a special occasion.

I recommend Tanglez Salon. Friendly staff, Megan is great! She always cuts my hair, she makes sure that I get what I ask for. Some places just want to get you in and out. Megan is very attentive and professional!

I've been going to Megan for two years now, she is absolutely amazing!!! She is very professional and consistently does a great job with all coloring and cuts I have gotten from her!! The pricing is the best in San Diego and everyone in the salon is always very welcoming and friendly!

I am absolutely thrilled with Tanglez! I reached out on a whim, scrambling for an appointment when my usual stylist got sick before a big event. Megan not only got me in right away but helped me get my hair into such beautiful, healthy condition. I went in for a haircut, but Megan even toned my hair and brought back the brightness! I am stoked with the results. The salon was charming with a great atmosphere. I was offered refreshments and Megan was so sweet. I will definitely be coming back again soon and recommending Tanglez to all my friends in town!
