The Comedy Store - La Jolla offers a fun and intimate comedy experience with a small, welcoming venue. Guests enjoy great comedy performances, often featuring popular headliners that keep audiences laughing for hours. The staff is organized, friendly, and efficient, ensuring smooth check-in, seating, and drink service. The venue provides a variety of drinks, with some noting that drinks can be strong and of uneven quality. Popcorn is available and adds to the fun atmosphere. While the atmosphere is lively and entertaining, some find the two-drink minimum and the door staff’s orders a bit off-putting, especially for first-timers. Bathrooms are functional but could use some improvement. Overall, visitors highly recommend the comedy shows, praising the friendly environment, good service, and enjoyable performances, making it a great place for a fun night out.
Great comedy show! Had room to move in our chairs. Some venues are too tight to move. Fast service. The 2 drink minimum not happy about. Already paid $$ for tickets!

Quick easy menu if drinks abs pop corn. Luis j Gomez was hilarious. Very old school cellar kind of vibe which was nice. Only draw back was it was in relatively quiet area with no business or night life open nearby
