The Santaluz Club is a private membership-only club (for people who live in the community). This review is mainly for the facility, pickleball courts, and playing conditions. I came here to play league pickleball as a guest of one of the Santaluz Club's members. Their clubhouse and facility are beautiful and well-kept. They do have a nice golf course and tennis courts. They even have a water bar by the courts for players. However, they don't have designated Pickleball courts. They use mobile nets on existing tennis courts for pickleball to accommodate the latest craze and demands. Therefore, it's not ideal and confusing to play and try to figure out which lines are marked for pickleball and which are for tennis. You are also constrained by the tennis nets. Their lighting weren't so great either. The end courts were dimmed and a disadvantage if you happened to be on that side. They need to upgrade to LED lights to ensure all areas of the courts are covered. Overall, I was not impressed with their pickleball playing conditions but was happy that our team came out with a win.

The bistro is everything I would want in a perfect coffee shop (outdoor outlets, fast Wifi, dog-friendly patio) plus the things you can't get in a typical coffee shop (outdoor fireplace seating, prime rib on Fridays). It's a privilege to live here and be treated so kindly by the professional and happy staff.Kudos to the staff and management.

My girlfriend is a member of this club and she invited us (on many occasions to be precise) to dine there. Best club ever! We attended a tasting event on one of the summer nights. Stunning view, exquisite presentation, superb services. I could give a six-star if Yelp allows me. :} Many fond memories here and some scrumptious meals, and of course, great friendship/sisterhood. Keep up the good work! Cheers!

I've never played the golf course, but it looks great. My personal experience has been only at the Clubhouse. Set high overlooking the golf course, the Clubhouse has stunning coastal and valley views. I particularly like sitting on the covered outdoor patio abd enjoying a coffee beverage. Service is always great. The Spanish Colonial architecture is quite nice.

I inquired about joining the Santaluz Club and was told I would need to submit a photo of my family so that they could post it on their website during the application process. Draw you own conclusion.

Beyond the stunning facility, Kelly Allred is what sets this club apart from others. She is delightful to work with, and an amazing ambassador for refined living. A+ to the Santaluz Club for hiring smart.
