Fun time. Great energy. You can request songs vi a paper/pencil (found on all tables). It helps if you give money donations to the pianist. $15 cover on the Friday we went. Overcrowded.

This was a really great experience. The vibe inside is super upbeat and high energy. People constantly laughing and singing along. The performers really make a point to connect with the audience and recognize any people celebrating a special occasion. Our drinks were delicious... the food was okay, nothing super special, but still enjoyable and I felt like everything was priced reasonably well. I made reservations and was glad I did because you get packed like sardines in there and I saw lots of people getting turned away.

We had a great night at The Shout! The performers were so good, food/bar service was on point & security was top notch. There was an issue with the restrooms when we were there but the staff handled the issue well. Can’t wait to return!

So much fun. Made reservations, got in easily 7:30 for 8pm show time. Performers were talented and great. Definitely interactive and lots of risky humor (be prepared). Experienced Dave, Jacob and John playing more than jist piano. They were awesome Food is acceptable bar style food

Top drawer, so much fun. It was a great night out and would go monthly if I lived in San Diego, don't miss it, if you have a chance.

Great place! Highly recommended! ??Wonderful cozy atmosphere, energetic and interactive performances, very talented pianists, attentive and courteous waiters and bartenders, excellent drinks ?! And I liked the concept of serving visitors in the restroom. That was my last (and unfortunately rainy) evening in San Diego, but I didn’t notice how 6 hours flew by while I was here!I was even pulled on stage to dance or something like that ?- this was my finest hour!I’ll recommend The Shout to my friends and acquaintances!Definitivamente ?

Usually entertainment venues like this are staffed by uncaring individuals, but we were so pleasantly surprised by how great the staff and the entertainment were. Thoughtful enough to tell us we didn't have to wait in line if we had reserved seats. Quick enough to get the table decorations that had accidentally been forgotten (no biggy). I was giving everyone free fingerpuppets, and sometimes that scares people, but not the wonderful piano player who started the show by tucking a fingerpuppet behind her ear (I then realized piano players cannot wear them the normal way...) This woman also played the drums and the sax and sang great. Both women were stellar and frankly outshone the later act, but it was lovely to see them periodically return on other instruments. The first male piano player did an excellent version of "I'm Ken." He was wonderful as were the later piano players. The food could be better.... However, the engagement of the audience is wonderful to see. A large happy group of people, where everyone supports each other's birthdays, anniversaries, dancing ability, and also gets to sing along. We will be back!

I've been to lots of piano bars all over the country and this one is my favorite! The pianists are so talented, the drinks are great, and an overall very fun time! Highly recommend!

With some friends for beer and snacks. Great piano players performing a nice show. Although the place was half empty, the security guys were acting as if their lives were in danger. Really destroyed the otherwise nice atmosphere.

Short manager has a severe attitude problem here. He literally misheard what my friend said, proceeded to call his bouncer friends over and physically assault my friend and drag him out. Maybe get this man some stilts so that he doesn't feel the need to take out his anger out on paying customers.
