Blonde lady with glasses made handling my move in very difficult. All documents were signed and she acknowledged that they were but could not give me my permit nor my transponder for getting into my apartment. She said kelly didn’t leave a note and that I would need to repeat the process all over again. I explained that wasn’t possible at the moment since my roommate is away. She said there’s no note or anything left on her desk but she never moved to check and gave me attitude when I asked. Her professionalism is awful and I hope that no one has to deal with her when living here. Other than making the process extremely hard and being very difficult the apartment is pretty nice. Will edit post once I get her name

We submitted a maintenance request and Carlos was extremely helpful. He was able to fix our bathroom faucet fairly quickly. He gave us great advice and had great energy. Thanks again Carlos for the quick turnaround.

I'd like to say that I was recommended this community by some coworkers, and I have had several nerve wracking experiences with other apartments and trying to apply that made it simply not worth it, but Deborah made the entire process very easy and explained away all of my questions without being condescending or rude. Overall she was a very friendly helpful person. It's been very rare for me to find lately and I truly appreciate her service as that alone is what pushed me into considering this community over any others I'd previously looked at. Thank you Deborah, you're the best!

This place USED to be nice until it started getting really ghetto. I witnessed 4 fights within 2 weeks and neighbors smoke marijuana all the time. People do not clean dog poop. I lived here 3 years and it was not like this when I first moved in. My parking space gets flooded every time it rains and when I asked for a new space they said they can't give me a new space but they will fix the flooding problem permanately but they never did. So i have to summit a ticket to unclog EVERY single time it rains.

Francisco Lorenzo is the BEST maintenance here at the Village! I had an issue with one of the toilets, the dryer, and the refrigerator and he was so quick and had all three issues resolved in less than 20-30 minutes! I am so grateful! He was very good with communicating over the phone listening to every detail about my issues prior to coming over so when he did meet me back at the apartment 15 minutes after our conversation, he came in ready and prepared and efficiently took care of each issue perfectly! I know it wasn't easy but he made it seem that way! He is great! He even put on shoe covers before entering my home at the door! Thank you so much, Francisco! I recommend to anyone who lives at the village once putting in a maintenance work order, to definitely request and ask for Francisco Lorenzo! Again, Thank you! Sincerely, Kim!

My garbage disposal was not working me not knowing prior to emptying some food so it can go down the garbage disposal I go to turn it on and sure nuff lol was not working so I called the apt put in a maintenance request since I have dogs I have choose a date they have available so the closest day they had was 4 days away I was not about to waite with food floating around in my sink so I put in another request and this time chose they can enter with out someone being home so 30 minutes after Francisco calls me and comes to save the day lol thank you Francisco for my new garbage disposal very nice guy got my garbage disposal working quick

The kindness and empathy that I felt and feel at the village mission valley to Irvine company apartments was amazing. You really get the welcome home feeling from their team. I've been really impressed and satisfied every time I've made contact with the team and the care and support excitement to get you in your home it's so cool. I love the way that they care for their actual property the the homes the atmosphere the way it looks and the fact that they want that from everyone means a lot and I just truly think that more people and more places and businesses can really take a number out of this book here because Irvine property is a whole experience that when moving in all you had to go through was very much worth it . I know you will enjoy too and thank you Irvine company property!

Again wish i could give negative stars. Absolutely horrible horrible and lazy service. Their lease conditions contradict their "policy" they couldn't actually provide to us, they lied multiple times to get more money and most of the time I'd call for something, they said they would get back to me and never did. Please don't let them fool you with what looks like luxury housing. There's trash everywhere, they change rules as they please, the market deli is never open and they haven't had frozen items for the entire 2+ years i lived there. I would live anywhere but here. I cannot express how horrendous my experience with The Village Mission Valley was. To respond to their reply, every time I contacted their office, they either have no clue how to help, have an attitude or make up lies to cover themselves. They sent us a doc stating they were required by law to perform something we requested, then didn't. we called, they never got back to us. then they tried to make up for it by doing it too late, and then still didn't respond. When we spoke with them, they said they were not required by law to perform it. But I have the documentation BY THEM stating they were. WHAT A JOKE!

The on site market raised their prices higher than even a local 7-11. I used to go there 2-3 times a week because the prices were reasonable enough for the convenience. Now, their prices are more than if I ordered 3rd party delivery, including fees. More customers will find out; and shun the store. It isn't inflation; as the input prices are actually going down. Example: the price of organic milk is near double the price at the grocery store. It used to be about $1-1.50 more...

I have lived here for a few years and I am sad to be leaving. The office staff was very friendly and helpful during my tenancy. Especially Alphonso who was very helpful and knowledgeable! I am going to miss this place. Wish I didn't have to leave but work is sending me to another location. Thank you Village Mission Valley for taking care of me over the years.

Lived here off and on for a few years. Really can't control who your neighbors are just like any other neighborhood but the quality of the apartments and amenities is top tier. The staff have always been nice to me. I really wish they had move events for the residents. Ricky Best.

I sent a maintenance request for a problem I had with my bathroom sink, and Francisco quickly came to address it. After he was done fixing the issue, he gave me some helpful tips to prevent problems in the future. He was polite, efficient, and even asked me if there were any other issues he could help me with. Great guy! Amazing service from all of the maintenance staff that have come these past few months as well.

BEFORE making your life miserable and rent in this luxurious expensive community please take a moment and read below: Everything, from the beginning and that "self-tour" app is broken and just purposed to fool you and play you around. The app does not work and will waste your time. The next step is that they will send you a couple of videos to see the properties, but what you will end up getting is nowhere near those videos and you won't see the property until you pay the fees and receive the keys. Then everything starts, dealing with a group of condescending staff that are called "office managers". I have been a resident of Village Mission Valley apartments since August. And been dealing with the resident next to me smoking marijuana without consequences from 6:30 AM repeatedly every two hours or so and this would keep occurring until midnight most of the time. The whole nasty smoke is drifting into my apartment and makes me want to vomit. I am being exposed to secondhand marijuana smoke regularly and has affected my daily life routine. I have difficulty sleeping and have constantly been dealing with migraine attacks. I can not turn on my heater/AC because it smells like a dead skunk trapped in there. Ended up buying a portable heater. I have reached out to Gloria, McKenzie, and Alfonso. I was told they need solid evidence. I ended up recording the resident and sent them a recording. Gloria ignores my emails. Reached out to McKenzie and today I noticed she hadn't taken any action. I called again today after getting sprayed with the resident marijuana. This time Alfonso felt more like he was joking with me. He told me it is legal in California to smoke marijuana!!! BUT is it legal in your community? Do you make policies that don't care about them?! He told me they're building a case. I guess it's been FOUR years since they're building this case. It felt more like talking to a robot rather than a human named Alfonso!! I had a mental breakdown due to all the emotional distress I'm going through with this neighbor and all he did was keep repeating "Smoking marijuana in California is legal". They don't EVEN bother to give the resident a call or send a notice. Why they're getting paid for?! Their security is a joke too. They send someone over to sniff around and go. No knocking on the door, giving notice, nothing. Pure waste of time. This neighbor has been here since 2021, she has had numerous complaints regarding her selfish behavior of smoking marijuana constantly and exposing others but no one is taking her under control and she has never faced her actions consequences per other neighbors. Very disappointed in the "Irvine Company" for having such incapable management that cannot put a STOP to a violation. They would attract you to rent here, as soon as you sign the lease, you are on your own facing the issues. ALL they care about is collecting rent on time. So, if you want a peaceful healthy life, do yourself a HUGE favor and DO NOT RENT in this community.

Shout out to Francisco, who was one of the maintenance workers! I had a couple things that needed to be fixed and he took care of everything!! He was quick and very communicative with his entire process!
