This Home Depot has a great selection of items. It's also in a convenient location close to our neighborhood. They rent equipment like pressure washers and carpet cleaners which is very convenient and inexpensive. The only thing that is often a problem here are the checkout lines. They never seem to have enough open and the self checkouts often are out of service. The employees are all nice and helpful throughout the store.

All you can hope for at Home Depot is they have what you want and lines are short. Price for lumber are high.

Jerry went above and beyond helping me make key copies. He was extremely friendly and even volunteered to help another employee with their tasks to make sure I got my copies that day (other employee initially said no to making copies with 15+ minutes before they closed). Would give 5 stars just for him, but every time we asked for help loading things outside like cinder blocks, other employees would get sidetracked and eventually I got tired of waiting and did everything myself (they were in a somewhat restricted area).

They are useless. Asked for help and can't even look up inventory. Online says there was 8 item in stock only to come to the store and find zero. Made me waste my time and gas. Update your inventory online idiots.

Stores like this are why companies like Amazon and other online retailers have become the norm. A total waste of time to try to get any helpful information from employees. Between asking 4 employees for help (none of them had any idea the answer or even seemed to care) and the amount of time it takes to get through the stoplight to get back on the freeway I had spent an hour and a half to leave empty handed. If i HAVE to go to a home depot I will certainly never go to this location again, despite it being on my way home from work.

I stopped by there yesterday around 4:30-5 to pick up some pepper plants and some other odds and ends. I was surprised by how great the employees were. Two stopped me to ask if I needed help. Laura in the gardening department surpassed all my expectations. I was looking for multiple plants in one pot and she kept looking even after I walked away and she found some very healthy looking ones. She chased me all the way almost to the other side of the store to hand it to me! I'm a fast walker. Come to Home Depot, where they will make sure you have the best experience!

What can I say? Sooner or later, you will probably need The Home Depot.Personally, I look to their competition first. Sometimes, I can only find what I need at THD.Their website is pretty user-friendly and makes it easy to find the particular item that I need. I like that it specifies the exact location of the item in the store.Self-checkout was not intuitive to me. Use the pricing gun, or just go into the regular checkout line (I think they still have them).I guess they figure that "do it yourself" also refers to checkout?

I stopped in to the Fairmont Home Depot in a rush, needing some replacement washers for my shower head. John in Plumbing was beyond helpful. He was handling one customer after another - he seemed to be the only person working in the aisles there at this time - and as soon as he turned to me, he was as friendly as ever. He took the time to walk me over to where the washers were. There seemed to be none left. He did not give up!He reached down through the fixture and actually found a small box of them that had fallen through to the ground.Really appreciated him going the extra mile!I wish every store associate was as helpful and caring. Really appreciate your help today, John! Thanks again.

The process for returning an item was fine, but the service was rather poor. The employee helping me -- "Charles" -- seemed like it was a burden. He was definitely grumpy; he was curt, abrupt, and grabbed my card out of my hand when the card machine wasn't reading my card properly. I'm not sure what set him off, but if you're in Customer Service, you leave that at the door before starting your workday.I don't think it was personal, but I got the feeling that something was bothering him, and he directed that at me. So much so that instead of wanting to shop further with my store credit, it made me want to leave immediately.

BIG THANK YOU TO ROSA!! You went above and beyond the customer service norms of 2022 and found the hidden back stock of the Halloween inflatable spider and MADE MY KIDS WHOLE WEEK! They can't stop talking about how lucky they were that Rosa helped us find this special item. Thank you for your kindness!

HDs Protection Plan is complete BS. They sell you on how easy it is to eat repairs done if "ANYTHING" happens. BULLSH*T!!!! Called the claims dept to file a claim and all went well. Spoke to an agent, went through all their over the phone procedures, assured everything was set and appt made. Appointment day arrives for the 12-4 window. No call, no text, no email. I called the company that was outsourced and they had no records on file regarding my number, address nor claim. They proceeded to say they do not service items within a 7day window and advices me to talk with Home Depot again. So after calling Home Depot again, I'm forwarded to a supervisor that says the best they can do is put my claim on high priority. Which to me means "we'll take care of it tomorrow" or "I'll let the other person deal with this one" LOL. So after listening to the speech that they read to the customer over the phone they assured me someone will contact me after 3 Buisness days. So I'll have to wait for my fridge repair as it sits at 50 degrees inside. Thank you Home Depot for the incompetent customer service and protection plan. Go to Home Depot hey said, their protection plans are great they said. Complete joke

I went to the Fairmont Home Depot to pick up 2 on-line orders curbside. One of them I wanted to cancel because I no longer needed the item, but I couldn't do it on-line because it had been shipped to the store and I waited too long. When I got to the store, I saw a sign that said call me if you have any problems so I did. Cody picked up the phone immediately and put me in touch with a manager who was there at the store at that time. Rosa immediately came out to my truck, took down my order numbers and said she would cancel my order for me and have my 2nd order brought out right away. What exceptional customer service. Some people might not think this is a big deal but I do because I'm handicapped. They didn't even know it and they still attended to my needs while I sat in my vehicle. They both went above and beyond my expectations and I just wanted to say thank you to both Cody and Rosa. A shout out also to Charlie who brought out my other order quickly. The entire interaction took less than 15 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. How's that for customer service. BRAVO!

So I went in and placed an order for lumber and materials on a Friday, and they offered delivery the next day in a time committed window between 10-2PM. 2PM came and went, I called, they said it was ok and would still deliver. 3PM 4PM 5PM ... finally, someone called and said oops - it never even got pulled off the shelves. Nice. They committed to 10-2 on Monday next. Well, 2PM came, no delivery. I called and they said we expect 230-245. So it's current 345PM and NO DELIVERY. So here we are, no materials, tradespeople waiting, and HD is twiddling.
