Such an odd experience. Your fuel policy is opening you to a lawsuit eventually. First I'm given a cam out of gas and told that if I return it with a quarter tank I'll get a credit. Then it runs out of gas before leaving the lot. Then I get a van with a quarter of a tank. Drive 8 miles and get charges thirty extra dollars because it slipped below a quarter of a tank. $30 means nothing to me but it does to someone. This is an aweful practice. Everything should go out with a full tank and delivered back with a full tank. No chance for breakage there. I'll be considering my options

The team was amazing and helpful! Went beyond in helping me load my vehicle onto the trailer. 5/5Unfortunately, the truck I rented had a urine odor inside and some questionable stains that I had to clean and disinfect with Clorox wipes.

Super affordable option compared to doing a " classic move ". We were quoted $8,000 minimum, by regular moving companies, to move a few items from Oregon to California, when renting a UHaul to drive our stuff down (and enjoy the beautiful coast Hwy) cost us $800. Super easy move, very reliable truck and great road-trip!

Lots of inventory and easy access however the staff is sooo unfriendly. They ignore you until you seek someone out for help. They all acted extremely annoyed that you're there. Don't bother making conversation or asking questions, you will get a shitty attitude and one word response. A man raised his voice at us for not being parked in the proper area, which was coned off so you couldn't get to it anyway. Then he was irritated with us because he had to move the cones?? Overall a weird and unpleasant experience. Plenty of uhaul dealers in San Diego, this one is not worth the shitty attitudes.

I checked in online through your app and I still have to check in with a cashier. Why I can’t I go straight through to pickup the trailer. You have all my information and payment through the app. Please make this easier. I have rented many times. They keep calling my wife to verify my emergency contact. I told the guy at the counter that I had a 1 7/8” ball on my hitch. He still assigned me the wrong trailer. How About a rewards program for frequent renters.

Terrible UHaul! The customer agent treated me horribly and I was harassed and disrespected. I felt poorly for the rest of the day after my experience. As well, the pickup truck I rented was filthy dirty with the windshield covered in a cloudy, white film that was difficult to see through and needed cleaning. I arrived on time for my pick up and found the UHaul agent to be immediately unfriendly and he seemed further displeased after i gave him my name. He then started to give me a hard time about my out-of-town phone number, insisting i provide a local phone number with which i could be contacted 24/7 even though I do not live in California. When i explained that i have an account and i've rented from UHaul many times using my home number without ANY problems, he simply stated he was 'doing his job'. He further commented that if i didn't want to go through this process, that i should complete the rental using the 'app' and not through him. Throughout our transaction, he stated this multiple times. My daughter then arrived and i was forced to provide her phone number which he phoned to verify on the spot. THIS WAS STILL NOT ENOUGH!! the agent then INSISTED i provide a THIRD phone number for him to call and verify. When i offered my other daughter's Canadian phone number, the agent told me i would need yet ANOTHER 4th phone number for verification!!! My 2 daughters and I stood absolutely livid. The guy had my driver's license, credit card, phone number and had me and my family standing in front of him and it was not enough. Never have i been so harrassed in all my previous UHaul rentals. Completely maddening! and a waste of our precious time! In desperation to have our rental truck, we were forced to provide my daughter's roommate's phone number. She also was called on the spot and was asked to verify our identities as we all stood waiting. When we finally received the keys to the rental truck, we found it to be filthy dirty unlike the trucks we've previously rented. What a horrifying experience for us to endure despite having a valid UHaul account with all my personal and required information. We have been loyal, repeat customers yet we were harassed and completely disrespected by the UHaul agent who was clearly lazy and did not want to do his job, preferring to force customers to complete their rentals through 'the app' and not through him. I would NEVER recommend this location and I will NEVER rent from the Midway location EVER again!

Trying to reach out them since three days ago to get info about a missing wallet. Nobody replies calls and emails. Also, they overcharged my bank account for no reason, just because they made a mistake of not updating the contract with the tight amount of fuel from when I got the truck. I would strongly not recommend their service, they have hidden fees just to steal money from people.

I immediately called UHaul reservations to inquire and the agent was unable to offer an answer. My reservation was changed back to an instore pickup at the Midway location for the next day.I arrived on time for my pick up and found the UHaul agent to be immediately unfriendly and he seemed further displeased after i gave him my name. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone at this location. I had to call corporate to ask them to have someone from this location call me and they never did.

Horrible service, switched from a van to a pick up at the last minute and then had the audacity to charge for tie down straps. Not even a "sorry for the inconvenience." Counter help is unfriendly and unhelpful.

The outside of the truck was really dirty and had a bunch of spider webs on it I think that it would be beneficial to clean the trucks.Then I asked for a van but he said they didn't have any and requested I get the bigger truck only for me to walk outside and see a van sitting ready for rental. Makes me think that I was being up sold on a more expensive vehicle.Next I didn't really like the price I only drove 8 Mi and it cost me close to $50 also I was charged an extra $12.90 for the gas when I only drove 8 Miles so what I'm being told is that 8 miles is the same as driving more than 2 gallons worth of gas which is not true the gas meter didn't move.
