To the man working at the computer on the first floor physical therapy Wednesday morning. I don't know if you were having a bad day or what but your treatment of everyone was so rude! You acted like everyone, myself Included was a total neusance. I get that everyone has a bad day every now and then but if you don't like your customer service job, perhaps look for a job in a different field. I hope when you go to the doctor you don't get someone like yourself to check you in.

There is no way to have a follow up conversation either by text or phone or leave a review on their website. My temperature was never taken and I question how thorough the diagnostics are. I am running a fever and in total agony for an infection. The PA (they address him as Dr at the clinic) was very dismissive of my pain. I'm wondering if I received the proper medical attention and treatment but I will not know if I have because now I'm running a fever which is one of the questions they ask concerning COVID. I'm really disappointed with UCSD's decision to use this contractor. I waited over 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment to actually see someone. I arrived 20 minutes early. I sat and listened to the staff and PA joke around for a good 5-10 minutes before they finally came in the room. The impression I get from UCSD is that they are not really interested in the needs of the patient. They are providing a service to collect $ for hurting people. The waiting room is filled with padded chairs turned the wrong direction. They inform you to wait outside on hard benches. I have an SI joint problem, so sitting on hard surfaces are not recommended. I payed down when others were admitted and then stood for the other 10 minutes of my wait time.

This must be the only clinic in ucsd that is manageable to get in and out of without stress. Quiet clean. Nice doctor.

Unfortunately, the appointment wait times are too long. I never was able to see a provider. I called to make an appointment for pain/injury that had not improved after many months. After home care efforts failed, I knew I needed to see a provider and get some x-rays. The wait was 5 months! I had to wait 2 months to see a different provider and then was able to book several follow ups with a specialist within weeks. It's ridiculous to not see a patient with an injury for that long. I was looking to establish care here, but I don't have a lot of confidence based on my experience and worry about being able to get and receive care when needed.

I was sad to see the urgent care move out before, but then excited to see a new one come in. I was also excited that you could pre register and get a wait time so you can wait at home and get a text when to come in. Sadly, it seems poorly run. Despite the time they sent us, and despite a totally empty waiting room and no patients anywhere to be seen we sat one hour past our texted time this Sunday, which was one hour past the wait time we waited at home. We could see our name as the next one the entire hour we sat there. And no other patients entered. After one hour I requested an update which they said ten min. After 15 min a nurse called to triage us and told us it would be another 30 before they could bring us back let alone when a doctor would see us. Given that zero people had entered the urgent care in the 2 hours we sat there past our texted apt we are very confused as to how that can happen. We will go to a different urgent care from now on as the wait time was ridiculous with no one in the lobby let alone if it was a full lobby. This is our third bad experience and we have learned our lesson!

Went here for a specialty care visit last week and had a good experience. It's easy to find parking and there wasn't much of a wait inside. It's a big, clean, newer building, and the employees here were especially kind and helpful. It can be slightly confusing to find your way around once inside, so plan on a few extra minutes to find your doctor's office.

I have been with UCSD for 10 years. They are amazing. Yet this location continually disappoints. Ive repeatedly been told "you're next" the left waiting and I'll for hours. I book my time ahead of time, come when they text, the am left waiting for hours!? Aweful service - not fitting for UCSD medical professionals!

In November, I had four infections and I needed to see a doctor right away multiple times during that month. I went to the UCSD Urgent Care in Rancho Bernardo each time. I made an appt. on-line and I was able to get in right away within ten minutes. The doctors were extremely knowledgeable and kind and helpful. They diagnosed the problems and gave me the correct antibiotics so that I could begin to heal. I appreciate how well-run this Urgent Care is. All the staff is friendly; the office runs efficiently and I appreciate the fact that this Urgent Care hires only doctors to see patients. Although nurses and physician assistants know a lot, they don't have the many years of training that doctors do. I also appreciate that during covid times, they ask the patients to wait in their cars until they are called to come in. In that way, the patients are not waiting in a lobby together being exposed to one another's germs. I'm so happy this Urgent Care is near my home. It has been a great blessing to me. Linda C.

Would give this zero if possible. My daughter has waited 7 weeks to get someone from their facility to respond. SEVEN, she is 31 weeks pregnant and NEEDS to see a doctor. However, company policy is that she is a new patient and has to wait until that appointment is open. She will have to wait an additional 2 weeks to be seen. So that is 9 weeks of no patient services for a pregnant woman. Along with that she is now past the time where she can use the birthing center. Because they were not able to process her and get her in sooner. This place is ridiculous, They obviously are not about true patient care. Go anywhere else if you want someone to treat you like a person and not a number.

They're site is messed up and when trying to schedule rapid covid test, I come to find out it was only scheduled under "Urgent Care" and not rapid test. Got on the phone and rep said there was no rapid test site in Rancho Bernardo when I clearly had just pulled up to one for them to tell me that it scheduled me under urgent care. They don't know what the right hand is doing from the left and put me through a major bind. Staying away from UCSD med.

Changed from Scripps to UCSD RB for my medical care. The difference is unreal. Had a mammogram today and had the results in 4 hours. I have no idea how Scripps stays in business when this amazing clinic is only 5 miles from them. Oh and you can actually safely park your car in a normal sized parking spot - talk about luxury! Kudos to UCSD.

I went to UCSD--Urgent Care--Rancho Bernardo for treatment of a knee injury. The whole experience was superb. The check-in was efficient and friendly. We saw personnel promptly. The doctor came in very soon and was extremely competent and friendly. Everything was a textbook example of what an urgent care visit should be. I think it was the best urgent care encounter I have ever had.

Excellent experience at UCSD Urgent Care. The entire staff was friendly, caring and efficient. I "saved my spot" online, in advance of a Sunday morning visit - and was seen quickly. I visited this location for a toe/foot injury, and was out within an hour (including registration, x-rays, doctor meeting and splinting). Dr. Killeen explained things well, was friendly and knowledgeable. I left feeling well cared for, and completely understanding my diagnosis, care instructions and follow-up recommendations. Thank you SO much!

I've generally had good interactions with this office, but this is a review specifically for Dr. Robert Coles. In my opinion, the most dangerous medical professional is one who is unwilling to admit when they don't have training or knowledge in a certain area. This doctor has zero understanding of lactation, but he completely misrepresents himself like he does. Luckily we had already been consulting with a lactation nurse because, had we taken his advice, breast feeding would fail completely. His advice to, "breastfeed for 15 minutes then just give a bottle" is a sure way to fail with breastfeeding for any new mom. In addition to that, he has very specific opinions about even they way a new mom chose to deliver her baby, even though in our case choosing a longer vaginal delivery over a c-section was actually more beneficial to mom and baby and was the right choice for us. His attempts to discredit parents are thinly veiled by his qualifying statements of, "I'm not here to judge" and "I'm here to support you". We immediately changed pediatric offices for a follow up appointment the next day and what a world of difference it has made. My wife and I are lucky in that we have the ability to do research and know when to seek second opinions from more qualified professionals. I can't imagine the impact in the families who don't.

You cannot do better than UC San Diego Health -RB or La Jolla. This health provider is cutting edge, organized, efficient, top-notch. They give patients great care and attention. Tried Scripps first a few years ago, not satisfied with them at all.
