Loved the Golden Hill Latte, with added espresso! Half-sweet was perfect, (a little pricey though.)

There are so many things I love about Ultreya. It's legitimately my favorite spot to grab a treat, and I must admit I do that quite often. This place has San Diego vibes all over it for me. Aside from great friendly down to earth service and ownership, they have a good menu of healthy drinks and treats, some even inspired by san diego herself. I first fell in love with their lavender latte with macadamia nut milk. Yes. MACADAMIA NUT MILK. Chai latte with lavender was the next evolution of drink order and now I am all about their matcha latte. Their butterfly effect is earthy and grounding. They also have VEGAN PASTRIES, and right now I can't get enough of their babkas. While you're waiting for your order you can browse their little local business corner where you can find candles, tarot cards, stickers, essential oils, clothes, and more. They also have another corner that hosts a book sharing shelf. This place is my favorite place to do computer work, good internet connection and outlets spread out, and there is always space inside and if you want to enjoy the sunshine, they have outdoor tables and seating (patio furniture new addition). I wish they were open til later since i'm a late starter and can't get enough of this place. but i know there is more that goes into this decision. I'm just grateful they are still here post pandemic and constantly growing as a business.

The best coffee shop in San Diego hands down! It's hard to find a cafe with good drip coffee, great vegan options, lots of seating, and plenty of parking. Their beans are freshly roasted in-house and they always have new varieties coming out. It's no surprise they are the only beans I brew at home!Super close to SDSU, the staff are incredibly sweet, and Dani, the owner, is always down to talk coffee! I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but I've been a regular at Ultreya for years now while working on grad school. The consistency at which they produce high quality coffee has always been impressive, but it's the environment they create that has kept me coming back. They genuinely make you feel at home and are always supporting the community. I've bought far too many stickers from local artists during their popup events, and am always looking out for the next Queer open mic night! Can't reccomend them enough!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of Vegan options that are actually good! My girlfriend is a 13 year Vegan and is constantly asking me to bring her back a vegan BLT or Caprese sandwhich. Not just vegan friendly, but vegan embracing!

Ultreya is a lovely space run by lovely people! It's always a joy going there, especially when they do their pop up market events. Also- their Chai latte and their vegan sandwiches are AMAZING.Accessibility: they have a cut curb and disability parking, plus a large parking lot. Doors are not auto open but they are frequently propped open. There's also large windows so if you needed assistance opening the door, someone would see and open it. The bathroom is large with space enough to maneuver a wheelchair. They will also bring your food/drink out to you if you sit outside and don't hear your order being called. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

Great coffee shop with excellent beans roasted onsite! The atmosphere could be improved - old tables and quirky decorative style. But the service, merch options, and coffee more than make up for it!

The absolute best coffee shop. What Ultreya is doing for the queer community far extends beyond their amazing coffee and food. They have provided a safe space to gather for book clubs, open, mics, solo time, dates, and so much more. I'm incredibly thankful and a very happy customer.
