I will say everything is pretty decent. The blond employee is very friendly and gets the job done. The one issue I have is with one of the female workers who I personally witnessed, snap at customers for them not understanding a task.

Horrible customer service really hate. This is the only location. That is close. Need to hire people with better customer service that has better patience.

If you want to feel like the problem, come here. Lady embarrassed me because there were two packing slips in the box when the items were the exact same. She charged me for an extra mailer when the items are going to the exact same place, the return was just separated, the order came in the same box. She will do this because she’s bored at her job and wants to fight and embarrass customers. I know this because the last time I gave them the same box with multiple packing slips, they took it and said “have a good day” because they realized it was a commodity. Meanwhile the lady at the front just throws her hands up when she sees the packing slips and starts violently and unprofessional whining into my face and starts dragging on the conversation for a couple minutes. She doesn’t want to be there and wants you to feel the same for even wanting service. Once again, if you want to feel like you’re the problem, come here.

I was excited to find this location as I have recently moved to the area. The interior is well appointed, clean and had lots of different copiers and mailing resources available. I was excited about the prospect of this being my new shipping location.There was one other customer before me and he was being helped by a very pleasant and supportive female employee.I was helped after several minutes by a male employee who had seen me walk in but did not initially come forward to help me. That was ok because I just figured he was busy.When he did come to help me, I explained that I had some Amazon returns and that I had never done this in a UPS store before. I asked him what I needed to do. He didn't provide an explanation. I again said, "I don't know how to do this. What do you need from me?" He said, "a QR code". I set about looking for a QR code, however, I had accidentally started a return with a mailing label. I showed this to him and he pointed to a sign on the register. Hesaid "you can email that label to us but it will be a 2.00 service charge."I would have had no problem paying the service charge or reading the notice in the register. However, I literally said when I started that I had no idea how to go about making a return. I know that being in the business of customer service is challenging and people are demanding these days, however this was just poor customer service all the way around. I wanted to learn how to do this properly, however I left feeling like I had just inconvenienced this person and felt very brushed off. This was just my one experience, but worth mentioning.

Felt unwelcome when entering. The employee who took my returns never asked how he could help. Instead just pulled out his scanner and scanned away, nor did they allow me to confirm much of anything before banging and tagging the items.The employee never confirmed if the transaction was finished or what to expect next or even directly address me at any point of the transaction. Instead just called for the next person.Sure he may be in their groove or what not, but in this case I’m not so sure that they were either effective or efficient since I am pretty sure the employee tagged the two items with the wrong labels.

The UPS Store in 4S Ranch is my new go to for shipping and returns.It is super clean, with a large service counter, and plenty of room for guests that are waiting to be served. Their store is adequately staffed which results in less wait times. Their staff is SUPER friendly well trained, quick, and knowledgable of their products and services. You can tell the management here cares about its staff and customers based on the quality of employees they have hired. A special shout out to Shelby for saving me hundreds of dollars in shipping costs by explaining my options. I bring this up because I nearly paid $1,000 in shipping charges at the Bernardo Center Drive location because the employee didn't care enough to tell me that there were cheaper options. And another shout out to Christian who handled my order like a pro! The 4S Ranch location also charges half what the UPS Store on Bernardo Center Drive charges for boxes, packing supplies and packing services. I learned of this when I had to ship from both locations due to lack of supplies at the Bernardo Center location. I compared both receipts and was astonished how much more the Bernardo Center Drive location charged for the same supplies and services. I have attached a copy of those receipts for reference.

Apparently there is a thief working at this store. See other reviews below. I dropped off two packages, one for UPS for which I got a receipt and another for USPS. The lady put the package down and said it would go out with USPS later. USPS never received that package. I'll be filing a police report and from now on taking a picture of the packages I drop off there in the hands of the person receiving them.
