Shipped a box of toys to my kids. Paid a large sum of money to do so. Even sent it certified. Paid for it to be delivered to doorstep. It wasn't delivered because the postal trucks are too small for the box says rude postal worker lady after 2 months of waiting. Was not told this upfront. Don't waste your time use FedEx or UPS . They would not refund my money. Uselessness and ineptitude at its finest. I hope they go bankrupt

Really bad experience every time I come here. Customer service is horrible. Everyone I have dealt with is always really rude. They are not considerate of your time at all. They make you sit and wait when they aren’t doing anything.

Today I was expecting a package and the company informed me that it had been delivered, but I did not receive anything. The carrier this morning in the zip area 92107 did not deliver my package.

The ladies at the counter were super disrespectful. I cannot believe how postal public servants lose sight of customer service. They must have a really good union contract that prevents them from getting fired easily.When I went In to drop off a package I asked the ladies a question, one stared at me blankly and the other was on her phone. It took me to repeat my question “3” times before the one I was looking at realized she was gonna need to answer me. WOWIt’s no wonder why these postal offices get audited on YouTube all the time. It’s because of this attitude.

I hate the post office. They can’t even spare a little tape for your box and they make you buy a whole roll you’ll never use and just throw out. Never go here unless you have to.

I often need to speak with one of the ladies at the front desk and have NEVER had an issue. They go out of their way to help me and accommodate other customers. I've had them open my box when I've misplaced my key and even get my mail when my payment is overdue. Every single one of them has been exceptional in my opinion. The manager of online services, Dan (?) has gone out of his way to extend courtesies beyond the norm...even mailing me a $15 refund out of state for my overpaid box. I'm not sure where all these unpleasant reviews are coming from, but personally, I appreciate all these front end ladies do!!

The new drive up mail boxes are horrible. They are set far from the curb and the drop opening is inset so far it’s impossible to put a letter in from your car. You have to open your door get out to try and reach it. I use a wheelchair and it impossible to use.

I honestly love this post office, despite many of the bad reviews. I’m here at least once a week or more. The ladies that work here are always super sweet to me and my son when we come in. Everyone works hard to get customers in and out fast.

This is what I had to say back in 2018 but never posted this draft:At this particular location there is a nasty woman there on Saturdays who definitely recognizes me but will not give me my mail on occasions if I forget my key. She said it's illegal. I contacted USPS. It is not illegal. It's a practice to ensure mail does not go to the wrong recipient. Exceptions can be made by the post master if they recognize you, know it's your box, at their discretion. They will not give you mail even if they recognize you which IS legal esp if your photo ID matches your box! What happened to reasonable accommodations?This is what I'm adding in 2023:Came here to mail a package that needed to go to Guam.... got hassled by the rudest Guamanian post woman who told me I shouldn't be mailing someone a cake. Who is she to tell me what I give as gifts?. She further told me that my package would "never get there" which is unprofessional. Never!? There is a published delivery date for priority mail (what I used)... She said that it would likely be 7 more days than the 3-5 days published.She went on about her thoughts on choices of gift, mail product of choice(priority mail), and other general rudeness I got out of line to see someone else at another counter and she held up the extremely long line of customer to come over and provide me unsolicited interference to me and everyone waiting. The worst part was she was 110% wrong. I hope she followed up on that package since she was so adamant... it got there in 3 business days. It literally got there as early as possible given the path it takes to get to Guam.From this experience I became thankful and grateful I made the wise decision of changing my address and moving to a completely different PO Box facility and away from this one back in 2018. It's nearly impossible to have a neutral experience let alone a positive one. This is truly the consistently worst (key word being consistently) post office I have ever used in my life.

DO NOT SEND GENERAL DELIVERY HERE.After multiple packages were marked as delivered to this facility, they remained stuck on the idea that even though the confirmation showed delivered, they didn’t have it. Checked every few days for 3 weeks and the packages were never to be seen. THIS IS THE GENERAL DELIVERY LOCATION FOR SAN DIEGO!! What!??

Angel a lady that works there was trying to tape my letter versus me licking it or using water to seal it. I told her that it was my letter that I was paying for and that I didn't feel comfortable with just taping it with clear tape that doesn't hold very well. She said "what's your deal what's with the attitude." All because I didn't want that tape on my letter. The manager overheard us and told me that it was due to Covid, I don't believe that to be true I think the manager is also wrong and should be fired. I went to my car and used a bottle with water to seal the letter and came back into line after purchasing my two envelopes one i destroyed and a new one to replace it. She then told me she wasn't going to serve me and made me wait in line while she accepted other customers. I was there for around 20 minutes waiting in line while she served other customers. The worse person I have ever dealt with at the post office. Please fire her immediately!

For a person who works 40 hours a week it is tough to get off with just enough time to rush over to the "United" post office in order to mail a package for a loved one. When the hours are listed at 5 o'clock and your doors close five minutes till. it really ruins a persons entire plans for surprising that loved one. This post office obviously has no respect for the hours in which they have listed so I posted this nice photo for them proving that their doors were locked and services shut down before the time listed. Thanks a lot USPS. You can do a lot with five minutes. Prepare a quick meal, change a babies diaper, fill up your gas tank, run in and mail a package...USPS- Useless Services that Probably Suck.

Get rid of Clerk 22!! Terrible customer service!I came here Saturday afternoon October 15, grateful that the post office was open because I needed to mail a certified letter to my tenant in Hawaii.Clerk who helped me out, older white lady like in her 60s, has a real attitude problem. Bad attitude, very curt and just barks orders with no pleasantry in her tone. We are customers at the post office not inmates in the correctional facility or soldiers in the barracks.Service has gone down at this location over the years. I grew up in this neighborhood for the past 28 years, and this was always my go to post office for midway District. Shameful!!! Thank you for reading this.
