I have never experienced what these 2 guys are saying. Never a long line or been on hold for a phone call. They seem like they are mad for whatever reason they had a bad day. I will practically be in and out the majority of the time. Great customer service. Btw how is a Doctor going to rally his patients to leave their pharmacy? Makes me wonder if he is one? As a physician, I cannot recommend this pharmacy. They are consistently understaffed, which leads to long lines (both in person and by phone) and extremely poor service. This morning I called them as a patient about a personal prescription and was placed on hold for almost 30 minutes. When I did finally get hold of the pharmacist, she told me that I should transfer my prescription to Costco or another pharmacy. Then she said, "I have a line," and hung up the phone before resolving the issue. I can understand the pressure of being short staffed, but this type of interaction with a patient is simply unacceptable. As a patient, I feel incredibly frustrated, so I will indeed be transferring all my prescriptions and future business to another pharmacy. I will also direct my patients to get their prescriptions filled at a more competent pharmacy with better staffing and customer service.

Terrible experience. Prescription was sent in first thing in the morning. Came at 4pm and it wasn’t filled. It is a nausea medicine and I have been vomiting. The tech told me to wait and she would get to it when she could. Not much efficiency or compassion from these pharmacy techs.

I have been going to this pharmacy for about a year now and I have yet to have a negative experience. The pharmacists are always friendly and quick to help you.. especially Riza. She always helps me find a cheaper way to get my meds even when I don't ask. She has a friendly smile and warmth to her. Riza...thank you for being there and for what you do. I can tell you love your job and I wanted to recognize how wonderful you are. Many thanks!

Went for my Covid booster and that went very well. I had an appointment and was taken quickly. Personnel were friendly and efficient.Previously I had tried to drop off expired drugs at the Von's on Scripps Ranch Boulevard. The expired drug container was locked and unfortunately I had arrived during the lunch hour.It would have been helpful to have the hours posted on the container when it is open for the deposit of expired drugs.At the Scripps Poway Parkway Von's pharmacy the expired drug drop off container was also locked. The pharmacist on duty was a substitute and the key to the drop off box was not available.Two tries to drop off expired drugs at 2 different Vons and 2 misses.

I just want to thank Adam Miller for going above and beyond with our daughters birthday cake order. We appreciate the time he took to take care of the situation :) Good customer service is so rare these days and Adam proved to us that it's still out there!

Recently began shopping here, I keep having a good customer experience with John, the cashier. He is super friendly and just makes the chore of grocery shopping nice. Picked up the chicken deal they have on Wednesdays and have been going on the super busy Fridays. It's still pleasant even when busy. Thanks John, I appreciate your positive attitude.

As a customer for over 23 years, it's disheartening to see that customer service has dropped significantly. On Thursday evening 7/21/22, the store was empty. I had grabbed an item that was later revealed being misplaced so I went back to kindly ask if there was a price discrepancy. The cashier rudely called on the bagger to get assistance while the cashier was on the phone. Unable to get help from the bagger who was actually working, they yelled for the manager who was also on their phone not doing anything and not helping a customer. Looking visibly annoyed that they had to be called, the manager approached us, spoke with a very condescending tone, and instead of kindly replying with the correct response, was quick to raise their voice and was clear that they were upset about getting called upon. Instead of respectfully clarifying the situation, they responded with such arrogance, almost with blame. There's definitely an opportunity to refresh the staff on proper basic grocery etiquette and customer service. The recent reviews are an accurate reflection of the downward spiral of customer service this store provides. Will probably not come back here for a while.

As an Asian American, I ran the Thanksgiving Food Drive in college, and went to do Habitat for Community on winter break. I'd say I am a decent American. I was at the self-checkout at Vons Scripps Poway Parkway. I paid and about to leave, a white woman 40s-50s behind me said to me you didn't pay. The self-checkout clerk came over quickly and said to me "you didn't pay honey." **Do not freaking call me honey when you don't know me personally, I hate that it is so fake** When the receipt already came out and I already put it into my pocket and was on my way out. I said to the self-check-out woman "the receipt already came out" and I walked away. She came over finally looked at the machine and said he's already paid. I love this country but this country has serious issues with Anti-Asian Americans i just realize that now especially for California. This is the second time I had an issue with this store less than a year. For all the Asian Americans remember you pay your taxes, and why would you support a store that does not respect you for your race or gender/disability or anything else? I will make sure my family and all my friends will never shop at Vons again. I love Ralphs they support LGBTQ, this Vons they just want your money and doesn't respect you what the heck!

Came in for the first time yesterday. We came in to get some drinks and snacks before my nieces softball game. The store was very organized, just kind of a weird setup than what I'm use to but the signs at the top helped us find everything we were looking for which is a plus. The store was very clean and the ladies room was clean. I do like that they have in the ladies room at the bottom of the door another way to open with your foot instead of having to touch the door.

I used the shop and go app and ordered my groceries. After checking the receipt I found out that I was overcharged $77 for the liquor I bought. I went back to get a refund. The manager didn't want to help at all and argued with me for 30 minutes. She took the receipt and threw it at me and walked in the back. Finally someone else found the problem and returned my money. The manager of this store is a lousy representative of Vons......she should be fired. After 40 years shopping there they have lost a customer. I hate Vons. I received a response from Dawn yesterday at Albertsons. She told me to contact her but I cannot find anything on their website to do so. I am still very angry and frustrated by the way I was treated by the store manager and wish to get this resolved prior to ever returning to that store. Please advise how to contact with specifics.

I know that this review is not gonna effect Vons at all, but lack of customer service there is astonishing. I needed to buy some top shelf liquor, which they keep locked. I spent almost half an hour in that isle waiting for an assistance , then I simply took photos of price tags , hopping that after I pay, some one will bring me the booze. But after spending another 15 minutes in line, they said I have to get the liquor first. When I asked the manager to give me additional discount for the inconvenience, he said, the don't do that. I almost never post bad reviews. No one from Vons will probably read this, so it's basically another 5 minutes I never get back.

I just left the store, the (tall) cashier and her bagger were rude, nasty. Instead of helping, they're blaming the customer for not getting on with the program!
