Alfredo Gonzalez bank manager at this downtown location, is unprofessional and honestly very rude. This branch has one star for a reason, and it is not only the long lines EVERY TIME you need to come inside it the total atmosphere of the bank. Issue i had today is an example of how this bank is run. Was in a car accident, given a check for $7200. Wanted to cash and deposit, or just cash check or even just deposit. Bank manager had to be called for approval (fine), should be no problem as i have been with Wells Fargo for over 15 years. He asked me "is this check a loan " I said "excuse me?" Him: is this a loan Me : why do i have to disclose what the check is for (this check I was cashing was purposely written out to me on a Wells Fargo account by another very well established customer ) Him: Just trying to confirm what the check is used for. Me: what are you talking about Him: the issuer of the check wrote 'personal/loan' We can't cash it. We can deposit it and it will take a few days. Me: So i didn't read the memo line in the check and now you are refusing it Him: protects us from fraud. As i am standing there with my ID account information I was told that another Wells Fargo could cash it. (I guess if they trusted me) so basically, I did not read the memo on the check and failed his test. BEFORE I came to this location, i called the Wells Fargo customer service line asking if i should mobile deposit or take into my local branch. They advised me to go to branch. I asked what was needed because the check was over $5k. Nothing other than ID. I called the customer service line again from inside the bank was told "there is NO reason why you should not be able to cash that check, but each location can use thier discretion. This manager concluded since i did not know what was written on the memo line he wasn't cashing the check. If possible use north county to open and do in person banking.

literally always the slowest service. i go here every week to deposit cash because i work next door, they only have one teller working at any given time. If there is anyone else needing to make transactions inside the building it can take 30 minutes to be helped. (Which is my entire lunch break) Disappointing that they wont have managers to assist teller's when there is the obvious need. If you can't staff more tellers, at least utilize staff that is presently in the building. It's clearly not the tellers fault, they are always polite and work as quickly and professionally as possible! just a staffing issue that costs more time than it should.

Should have already looked at the reviews before attempting to do business here. Some of the things this branch can improve on:- communication internally between their staff - communication with customers- increase empathy and care from the manager of the branch- respect for customer time and business - greeting customers with the desire to do business with us rather than treating us as a burden- customer service response timeThis bank may be one of the only ones I've spent 45 minutes waiting to be helped when I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time and I was the only customer in the facility. Very confusing and frustrating experience.

There was an issue with my mobile banking login and the customer service hotline instructed me to visit a branch to have my ID verified. First time visiting this branch and they were "too busy to help me." I said that's fine, I understand it's probably not the most common issue. The manager at the time said I can come back later or another day and they should be able to help me.I retuned today at a time that I believed would be less busy. Joseph at the window said the one person who can help me is on lunch. After seeing the frustration on my face, he says "You should have made an appointment." After taking a moment, I responded, "I wish somebody would have suggested that to me last time." Without hesitation, he becomes argumentative, "We always suggest that." That was beyond the point and I was ready to get out of there. The scheduling here is mismanaged and they don't appear to believe in customer service. I won't say this is an issue with Wells Fargo because I'm currently sitting in another branch and receiving the best customer service I've received in the last hour.

I was lied too, given false information & wasn't able to fix anything due to their attitude. Told me I was wasting their time without even being in the building for more than 10 minutes. Complete idiots! At least on a Friday 8/12/22 at 12:30pm

Still waiting outside in line 10+ deep at 11:00am. Probably not the first time they've had this long a wait on a Saturday so either hire more tellers or don't tout a high level of customer service. They have a sign outside that asks for patients because of a longer wait times " as they make things safer for customers"... I have no clue what Covid has to do with understaffing... 5 customers were inside in line could have easily been at the non-staffed windows. On a good note, the teller Javier is fast and always fantastic.

Good location near Horton plaza. Newer machines, no signs of any skimmers. Wide open sidewalk so it’s easy to see anyone approaching you as you use the machine. Awnings keep the screens shaded and legible in the daylight. There’s also an open bank branch next door if you need more than just a withdrawal or a deposit.

I am irritated with this bank, their website doesn't work, their mobile app doesn't work or let me in. I have a business to run and when their network is down it waste half my day. This bank needs to get their act together. And fix your tools. This is Wells Fargo for crying out loud, you need to spend a little more money to make sure your systems are working properly or give up, go home and go out of business cause your wasting everyone's time my friend.

The teller are unable to add number manually, even going to the extreme of arguing with me, only to be proven wrong after 5 min of going back and forth helping them add 2 numbers. This bank is the hardest bank to work with, they seem to want to make things hard rather than help a premier client. Seriously last time I go here. My time is better spent walking to another nearby bank

I have to give credit were credit is do. As I was thinking twice of coming to this Wells Fargo Bank. So I went my gut feeling. I walk into the branch you are greeted right away with a nice hello. When I explained what I needed. They said no problem. No more then two minutes I was helped from a business banker. After being seated I was seen from Thyda. I'm a true believer in second chances. So I explained to Thyda what I need to get done. No problem I was told. After no more then ten minutes Thyda was amazing. Not only did Thyda go above her needs. Also made sure that everything that I needed was done right on the spot. Instead of coming back numerous times. I'm glad I gave this Wells Fargo a second change. I could not be more pleased with the customer service that was provided from Thyda from A to Z.

Ugh. I cannot wait to migrate to a local credit union. For as much as I pay in fees there should be way more people here. Everything here is always sooooo slowwwww.

These guys are the biggest bunch of liars and thieves imaginable. Even considering their competition, the rest of the to big to fail banksters, Wells Fargo takes the cake for fraud. Don't take my word for it, do a quick google search yourself to see just how they lie, cheat, and steal from their clients. Do business with these stage coach robbers at your own risk.

First I called to confirm the I could exchange cash for a cashiers check and was told yes. Then after coming across town to the same location I called, I was told that I couldn't get the check unless I had a checking account. For reference I had a checking account until i had way too many problems with their service. I do have two active lob accounts. Was denied service. Do yourself a favor and don't use Wells Fargo for any banking, and especially don't use this branch.
