Recently I visited the store Barons Market in Point LomaThe store itself is visually appealing, with a layout that caught my eye. I enjoyed the offerings at the olive and salad bars, which added a unique touch to the grocery shopping experience. However, the checkout experience was less than ideal. The store manager, Patrick, seemed uninterested and wasn't very friendly. When I asked about the price of items from the olive bar, his response, including an eye roll, felt dismissive.Despite the checkout hiccup, the store's overall ambiance is decent. The curated sections like the olive and salad bars make it stand out.In summary, Barons Market has its merits, but the customer service encounter with Patrick left me with mixed feelings. Improving in this area would enhance the overall customer experience.

Baron's is a much appreciated alternative to the bland uniformity of the Ralphses and Vonses (that actually sounds funny - ralphses snd vonses and bears, o my!) and the excesses of places like Bezos Foods. Even though I am probably not the best judger of prices, to me, their prices seem very reasonable. Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh. They have items you would likely not find in regular supermarkets, they have a wonderful self-serve deli section, and their selection of pastries and cookies is superb. As a croissant snob, I highly appreciate them making Bred&Cie products available daily. I wish they had opened a store on the top of the hill when Fresh and Easy closed years ago.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Baron's over the last 20 years. Their produce and cheese departments are wonderful. The fresh salad bar is equally impressive. The cashiers are friendly and thoughtful. Today I had a wonderful man named George help me find a few items. He actually dropped what he was doing and helped me locate some items that I needed for my recipe. I was so impressed and grateful for his kindness. Baron's is a wonderful gem in our Point Loma neighborhood and I am so grateful to all the people who make it so.

Robin is the best. I've never met somebody. Has morals, ethics and principles. Like the way, Robin has phenomenal job helping me. She exceeded all my expectations. She went above and beyond everything you could ever imagine. I wish the world had more people like robin. She's amazing. And the great asset to Barron's market.

Food is horribleBananas that never ripen; prepared food tastes old & tough, sandwiches old, bread is bad & old, missing condiments, rancid old chickens & soup leftover for weeks.Expensive & uninteresting.

This center has Barons Market- which holds a special place in my heart. Amazing produce, unique products and the best prices on wine in San Diego!

I wish this place was called Barons Natural Market. If it was...it would've stopped us in our tracks years ago. We've driven by so many times and never stopped in because we thought it was just another small regular grocery store. Recently my husband said let's just stop in. I didn't want to. But it's actually a really great natural market with lots of options, decent bath & body care product section, as well as a salad bar, hot soup selections and hot food area. We love this place.

I actually was a former clam chowder judge for the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk annual competition, and this hot bar has one of the best clam chowders I've tasted!!! Friendly staff and would recommend checking out their selection of soups.

Baron's Market saved me! My husband and I were going to make an anniversary dinner and recreate some of the recipes we learned in Italy. After going to two of the large chain grocery stores near my home, I returned home, tired and still lacking two ingredients. The dinner was planned for the next day. I was going to be very busy that day and didn't feel like having to drive out of my neighborhood or dealing with traffic and parking. I called Barons, and lo and behold... they had both! The next morning when I went in, I asked for help and was directed quickly to the items. It was early in the morning, so I got some fresh, hot coffee with skim milk while I was there... it was exactly what I needed.A few days ago, I returned to Barons. I was picking up a few things for a celebration with friends. I chose some olives and feta from the olive bar, a couple unique bottles of wine, and some Lambrusco balsamic vinegar. The pastries in the bakery section look amazing... I will try them next time!

A small chain grocery store with healthy food options. They have some decent to go foods but I would rather go to sprouts for fresher meat and fish options.
