Best Vons curbside pickup ever! Communication systems were easy and user friendly. The personnel were ready when we got there! Love it! Thank you Vons Murphy Canyon for being so efficient during a busy work day!

Idk if I can give 0 stars but I guess the one star is cause there's seriously only 1 good person there. Where to begin...the produce is always disgusting just like the store in general. There will always be mold everywhere in the produce and fridges. I picked up a bag of lemons and it was filled with mold. As cloud of it actually puffed up in the air. The employees are slow, don't respond and usually incredibly rude. You will stand at the meat counter forever. Don't bother asking if they have anything, cause they'll direct you back to a nasty old package of meat on the shelf. The prices are honestly not worth any of this either. They're not low. I could go on and on but I'll just leave this here continue shopping elsewhere

Ummmmmm......Nope!! This place has so much mold that you can smell it while your shopping! Just look above you in the refrigerated section, my nose was itching and we left. Won't be back.

First time at this Vons location! Easy access off I-15 and there is plenty of parking, which is a plus in my book. I was in and out in 15 minutes, but I instantly noticed that this location is much bigger than the others. There was a great selection of produce, canned goods, and drinks. The aisles were wide and spacious and everything seemed well-stocked. I also noticed how clean it was, which is always nice to see and makes the shopping experience worthwhile. Self check-out machines FTW! Makes it easier for those who are in a rush and don't have much items to purchase. On a weekday afternoon, there were hardly any lines. WOOT! Overall, good customer service from the Starbucks barista, cashier, and bagger. The barista got my iced coffee order right, but the cost was pricier than the other Starbucks I frequent. Strange. They charged extra for oat milk, but other places it's free. Grrr. Like most grocery chains it is a hit or miss. I honestly didn't have a bad experience and will return in the future.

Rude employees. Was buying a sympathy card and floral. After numerous attempts to ring the floral, and after getting another plant with the same tag, I told the self checkout rep to just ring the card and not the floral as we were in a hurry. She ignored me and continued to try to ring it for like the 5th or 6th time. I said out loud, "she's not listening to me" and she grabbed the floral and walked off while yelling, "I'm just trying to help!" I told the guy "I don't need any smartasses today" and he replied "I didn't say nothing" I told him not him, but in reality he just got snarky too, so there ya go. Then she proceeded to go to the floral department and then talk crap about us to the floral employee. When we came by she walked off and I told her to have a better day and she "yelled" out. "Yep! You too!" Short, heavyset, Latino looking woman. Very disrespectful.

I ordered groc. at this Von's for pickup on a sat. and pickup time was 6:00 pm, at 6:00 pm I got a text they were running late & they said 8:00 pm. so at 8:00 pm they said the shopper deleted our order & left the store. So Michele the supervisor or manager there said come sunday morning & she would do the shopping . Well, they chaged my discover card on sat. night for 103.46 and then sunday I pick up and they said I had to go in the store and pay with a different card because discover card was maxed out. So I used my Bank Debt card and they charged me again, I called discover & they took 103.46 out on 5/07/22 and sunday they took out 98.66 out of my bank and I went in to overdrafted . I'm very mad , plus i didn't get all the saving sunday like I did sat. Michele wasn't any help. and Customer service for you sucks!

While this is not my first choice for Vons, it is for their Starbucks. The barista in this Vons' Starbucks definitely know what they're doing when it comes to the iced oat latte or caramel macchiato. Plus, they always seem to be giving out deals with their pastries, which I absolutely love! Thank you team for keeping me fed and caffeinated.

Love this Vons, everyone is so professional and friendly, however, on Saturday, March 5th, while at Vons, I stopped at Starbucks, and encountered Jazmin V. When I approached the window, she stood there and looked at me, I smiled said hello and ordered , she took one cup out, and my two muffins, she charged me for two coffees, I said oh excuse me, you charged me for two coffees, angrily asked, you only want one, (she only pulled ONE cup), while making my coffee, I asked, when you get a chance, can you ring up these cups (plastic cups for sale) she snapped back, YEAH WHEN I GET A CHANCE, there were no other customers, once she had two other customers, she gave me my coffee, and made me wait until she completed there order before ringing me up. She is extremely NASTY, and I HAVE NEVER WITNESSED THIS BEHAVIOR AT ANY STARBUCKS. SHE NEEDS A DIFFERENT JOB, WHERE SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC, NO MORE STARBUCKS, AT THIS LOCATION, FOR ME

Von's as usual, over priced version of Ralph's, but with less of a selection. Sadly there are more Von's in San Diego than Ralph's or any other grocery store for that matter, so that is why people often shop there, because they live close by. Anyways, I wanted to use the cashier to check my groceries and pay for them. I got the attitude that they rather have the customers use the self checkout line, I told them I would rather use the cashier (only 2 cashiers open, the rest were closed because they are trying to remove them and switch to all automated)...I told them automated check out is putting people out of work. Out of 10 lanes, only 1 or 2 lanes are open with cashiers available.... Vons is nickel and diming everything and cutting back on employees. The younger employees that work there don't seem to care though because they are too oblivious to know what is happening and would rather gossip with co-workers, the older employees are often too over worked because Vons cut back many of the other employees hours.

I was at the Murphy Canyon Store today and the visit had a bad start, there were no carts available and 4 of us waiting. There was a man training a younger man and gathering carts , but ignoring us asking for carts and walked right past us, as if the trainee was actually deaf? Staff in the store could not have been nicer, but when the Cashier, Jowharah, was bagging up eggs and fragile bakery goods, she put a heavy bunch of bananas on top of the fragile items! when I asked her to take them out and hand the fragile bag to me, she tossed the bananas back on the counter and shoved the bag back at me, with a negative remark of "Whatever!" she and the Lady bagging continued to pack the groceries, and we made it home without anything broken, but I've never been dismissed by a Cashier like that at a Vons! Murphy Canyon is one of my favorite Vons, and the staff has always been so helpful, so hopefully I will be a one time occurrence!

The gentleman who approached me was very rude asking me to wear a mask. After I ignored him for health reasons he then followed me and continued to be rude. The "guidance to masks" was brought down by the state of health person who has no authority and this store is ignoring medical reasons for not wearing masks. Shame on them and shame on that employee

Pharmacy pickup was fast and convenient. Good price with the GoodRX card!! Stopped at the Starbucks to claim a reward but they did not have technology to scan a QR code!?! She did not even attempt to show me how to get the barcode from my app. Needless to say o will not come back to this Starbucks!! 4 stars for pharmacy 0 stars for Starbucks
