This is a location I visit on occasion when I am looking for a specific item. The service is ok, but the products are subpar. I don't usually buy milk but when I visited the locates on the 2/29 all the oat milk from that day was dated for an expiration on 2/29! To top it off, I bough and item that has MSG, the same MSG that causes cancer! I was very disappointed because I didn't realize this when I bought the fist bottle. I went back for more the day of 2/29 and bought, not one, but TWO!!! American banned the production of MSG but they sell it and distribute them? Only because it was not made here? That makes no sense .. If you see this item, STAY AWAY. "MonoSodium Glutamate is the same as MSG"

I walked in to a female employee berating a male employee who was stocking a shelf, saying he was stupid and talking loudly to another person. I would have reported it, except the person who rang me up was the female employee. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I would have fired her if I were her boss. If a mistake is made, you still treat people with respect and you never belittle them in a work environment and especially never in front of customers. I did buy something because I went out of my way to drive there, but I really wanted to leave it all and buy nothing.

This store is clean and well stocked. I love ❤️ it. I wished they had electric carts. I'd probably buy more stuff.

Well if you have store hours, you should be open those hours and not have the doors locked. Also on a previous trip, I purchased lunch meats a month past their sell by date and had to throw them away.

Love the 99. Cashiers are so slow and seem uninterested in their job. I mean come guys you have to at least fake it that you like your job. The rest of us have to.

Your uncourteous staff at the checkout still refuse to bag items we bought if they will use the reusable bag from customer, Your checkout staff will only bag our bought item in the bag from yours. Why??????

So full of shit!! Bought a large pinwheel to decorate my mother's gravesite but was told by cemetery that it was too big and not allowed. Took it back to the store only to be told that it was "seasonal" and I could not exchange/tefund!! WTFH?? I bought it FOUR days ago! So summer is so short they cpunt this as seasonal?? Yet the mf'ers are still selling them? Total clip joint! Bad enough you can only exchange but now they won't take their shit back at all!! Give them LESS than one star. NEGATIVE!!

I bought some pistachios yesterday and when I got home I noticed that one of my boxes had maggots inside.I went back to the store to go get my money back or to exchange it but they said they couldn't exchange food. Please check your items before buying them.

The 99 Cent Store has what we all usually need for a deal compared to non-discount stores. I save a few dollars and it makes a difference in what's left in my wallet. Employees are helpful and some have a great sense of humor. Funny story. On my visit to the 99 Cent Store this man was standing outside the door on a cold night asking each shopper if they would buy him a liter of soda. Everyone ignored him but me. I listened to his request, went inside to where the sodas were and then saw 3 types. Darn, I said they are all different. I went back out and asked him, "Do want Pepsi, Cola, or Diet?" He replied, "Cola." I paid for it, handed it to him, and he thanked me. Then he told me to go back in the store and buy him a bag of "Chips." At that point I thought I did my good deed already. Someone else could now "Chip" in with their gooddeed. By the way as my Momwould say, "Don't talk tostrangers."
