I was at this storage facility for 3 years, unfortunately this third year my storage unit was one of several that were broken into. The staff was sympathetic and kind during the process but the procedures they had to follow were unfortunate. They weren’t allowed to file their own police report which makes no sense and could only offer a replacement lock and maybe an additional lock. The locks may feel nice but the way the interior units work the thieves just break the part the locks connect too away from the door/wall. The insurance process was pretty easy and surprisingly quick, they paid me my full value of the insurance plan I had within a week. This storage location is no frills, no AC, the units all have an open gap of 6-8inches between all the interior units. The bungalow style buildings that house the interior units also not lock. I checked and they only have door knobs they do not lock and that alone is pretty negligent of the company, these buildings should be locked at 10pm when access to the units is cut off. They also don’t have as many cameras as you would think. At least in the building my unit was housed they had no interior cameras or cameras at each of the entrances. Starts off cheap but prices raise every 9 months. And can get pricey fast. Overall didn’t hate the place, it’s very basic, serves it purpose, but is not very secure. Rent at your own risk.
