They have some good deals but not everything is under $5. Maybe they need to change the name just like these "dollar" stores!

I take my grandkids here on occasion for inexpensive toys. They love walking around and checking out the toys and games. Unfortunately most of the five dollar toys break within twenty four hours but they still love coming here. The last time we came one of the purchases was a kazoo for $3.25 and it broke five minutes after opening the package in the car. Since I was still in the parking lot I exchanged for another. My point being don't expect quality merchandise for five dollars. They have more merchandise for above five and nice choices in candy, games and cheap electronics.

First time here. Lots of things to look at but not all are $5 or below-reason for the 4 star review. Nice variety of unusual items. Perfect place to find a inexpensive gift.

So we had an appointment in town and stopped to kill some time, when we came in the cashier greeted us into five below! It was a nice change up and then she was so awesome when it was time to check out! I asked her if she was the Manager because her customer service was on point from start to finish, she wasn't the manager but an employee! I had to ask her name which was Pam, she is an awesome addition to the five below team and definitely made my daughter's day with their interaction. Thank you Pam!

This was my experience at the San Dimas location. I only spent 5-8min. In the store and didn't even see the whole store before I had to leave due to the chemical smell inside the store. I started to get a headache almost immediately and felt badly, and the chemical smell was making me feel sick. I left and as soon as I got outside and breathed fresh air I felt much better. The headache stayed with me until I got home but cleared up soon after. Inside the store I saw Halloween items, candy, books, children's toys and games and stretched canvas. Too bad I couldn't have spent more time looking around, I may have bought something. I doubt I will go back anytime soon the experience was very unpleasant and probably not healthy. But maybe when you go the chemical smell will have dissipated and be gone.

This is my go to spot for $5 Squishmellows they always have new ones to choose from. My daughter loves coming here to shop for her friends at holidays
