I just bought a food product in a bag at Albertson’s on Bonita, in San Dimas. when I got out to my car I noticed there was a big hole directly through to the food that I was going to consume in the small bag. Dangerous!! I went back inside to swap it for another, and I was told aggressively and rudely that they were not excepting any returns, or exchanges due to the coronavirus. That makes sense. Because you wouldn’t want to put returns back on the shelves, And you wouldn’t want to encourage people who are hoarding. NEITHER OF THESE THINGS WAS THE CASE. The product was certainly not gonna go back on the shelf, and it was obviously not a case of hoarding. The manager at the San Dimas Albertson’s is using this guideline to sell defective products. THAT IS ILLEGAL. You can’t sell contaminated food, rotten meat, spoiled milk, or damaged products, take money from people who have lost their jobs and then refuse any kind of logical restitution. THATS ILLEGAL. You have a policy on returns. Fine. That’s a policy. TAKING MONEY for potentially dangerous inedible food is illegal LAW vs. policy. Your policy doesn’t give you the right to steal money from me, Albertson’s.
