I had a birthday recently, and the Auntie Anne's app on my phone notified me of a free birthday pretzel. I have fond memories of cinnamon sugar pretzels at Oriole Park at Camden Yards when I was a kid, and while I didn't expect this one to be as good as those, I at least thought it would be decent. I was wrong.I opted for the sweet almond pretzel. I wouldn't call it savory, but it wasn't terribly sweet, either. The biggest issue, though, was that it was overcooked -- nearly burnt. Afterwards, I sent a series of messages to a friend of mine:I got my birthday pretzel from Auntie Anne'sAnd boy was it badI cannot believe people pay for itIt would have been $5.69!Auntie Anne's has fallen a long way. (Maybe it was never that good, but it has at least fallen from mediocrity.) There's not much else to say. I'd sooner eat any other baked good. Don't waste your money or your calories.

I am a huge fan of Auntie- consider myself lucky to find one and always stop since there are no locations within 45 minutes of my home. This location is inside a shopping center downtown SF. Server was average. They weren't busy at all which might have been a clue...I have the app and used my buy one get one reward that was expiring today (phew) to get 2 large nuggets. They were dry, rock hard and honestly inedible and I threw them away. I might give them another chance, but it's really disappointing to get dog bone for nuggets.

The customer service is horrible. They have kids working there. The young lady too busy given boys her phone number and the young man got my order totally wrong and got attitude when i told him it was incorrect. They establishment clearly needs adult supervision and not just some kids.

The service here is really bad, especially from the manager or district manager. I would seek better options 2 floors down, you won't be disappointed.

Every mall has its pretzel joint and this mall was team Auntie Anne's. Its like popcorn to a theatre, the smell hits as soon as you walk in- tempting you into buying overpriced snax. Well I took the bait today and I gotta say, I'm still team Wetzel Pretzels. I ordered the pizza bites and it didn't taste like pizza. You'd think that wouldn't be a hard thing to get right but there was barely any cheese and the dough didn't really taste like a pretzel even. It was hot n ready like Little Caesars.

I was craving for a pretzel from this place badly. I waited over 20 minutes there was literally 3 persons behind me. The service was out right bad. I can only assume that the servers friend came over and decided to talk to their friend during working hours causing a delay. And the person can't multitask so decided to just stand there and chit-chat. Aiye that was sooo annoying. Well i was like okay they are just saying hello or whatever but after 15 minutes of non stop i left that line and went right downstairs to Wetzels and got a rpetzel after 5 minutes. Their service was fast and yummy. Avoid Auntie Anne's at Westfield Mall no consideration period!

I recently went to auntie Anne's in Newport Centre located in jersey city and ordered a mini cinnamon pretzel cup as well as a mini dog cup. And as my boyfriends and I are eating it, the tastes began to change and the food began to taste like cleaning products... I'm unsure what happened during the cooking process but this is unacceptable...

Auntie Anne's is so nostalgic for me! Every time I pass by I'm reminded of my childhood days. I used to love getting pretzels as a snack after a day of shopping at the local mall but they're just not as good as I remembered. Pricey for what you get and the flavor isn't there. Dry and overcooked. There are other places where you can grab tastier snacks in the mall. They recently rolled out a rewards app so you can earn points for a free pretzel and get a free pretzel on your birthday which is a plus. Otherwise there's not really much to it.

Their pretzels are a little high in calories, but they're good once-in-a-while treats. I like their cinnamon sugar pretzel and hotdog pretzel, and you can get a frequent buyer card also!
