I needed routine car maintenance and a smog check, so I called Auto Stop and they told me I could drop by. I arrived at 9:30 am, and while they initially estimated a two-hour wait, they had everything done by 10:30 am. Much faster than expected!
The total came to about $260 for my car. This covered a vehicle inspection, smog check, and oil change. Service was efficient and professional.
Note: There’s a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, so consider using cash or a debit card to avoid the extra fee

I went today so they could do 2 things to my car and 4 hours later they called me saying my car was ready to pick up! Incredible job and friendly people! I totally recommend this place! Also the pricing it’s really affordable! I will totally come back again! Really had working people!

Honest fast service. Auto Stop has been our go to for years. If you need your car DMV Smogged they are super fast and always accommodating, please call & make appointment first.

They communicate well, provide excellent service, and finish the work efficiently and promptly.

I have been a loyal customer since 2013. The main reason I give the shop 5 stars is because Harrison, since day 1, has been extremely patient with me asking lots of questions with my little mechanical aptitude. The whole team is friendly and helpful. They are an honest crew and all good at explaining things so even I can understand. Cars can be a big headache, so I am grateful to have auto stop on my side to help me get through the regular maintenance and keep my cars running at prices i can afford.

My girlfriend took her minivan into the shop to get a oil change and when we did the rapidly no problems with the car. Upon leaving there was a strange rattling noise coming from the engine and when we asked the mechanic and the guy who owned the place they both refused to help us and told us to make an appointment in which we did and they still refused to help us or even acknowledge us. I'm not sure how this guy got good reviews but he definitely ripped us off and caused my girlfriend $550 in repairs

My experience here was great. I brought in my truck because it had the maintenance light on, and I needed to submit a smog check to the DMV. I picked it up about 3 hours later and the cost was fair. I do not feel that they overcharged me at all. Harrison met me at the front counter and explained some repairs that would be needed in the near future. They submitted the smog electronically and I noticed that my truck drives very smoothly since visiting this shop. Thank you!

I’ve been taking my Subaru here for 9 years and they’re always super helpful and friendly. Last time I needed an oil change they even fixed two minor things without charging me. Definitely recommend.

I've been coming here for years -- this has been my go-to auto shop for the past 10+ years. Harrison and his team are fantastic - professional and honest and overall it's always a positive experience. I moved out of SF over 4 years ago and I still come here for any auto needs because it's hard to find a trustworthy place and this place is definitely trustworthy.
