The people who work here are cool people, they provided a good service . I am just upset that the city of San Francisco put me without a car to be on foot for a whole week before i was able to recover my card when they could have simply left it where i was arrested and i could have picked it up shortly after being released.

Daniel just picked my car with dead transmission. Wait was no more than 30 minutes. Daniel the driver was super nice and professional. He even called me to verify he had dropped my car off at the destination shop.

I had a 1998 Honda Shadow ACE, a simple mid-weight motorcycle, that was dead in Pacifica and needed a 3 mile tow back home. I called around and these guys were the first to answer and willing to come help. I explained my location and where the bike would be brought and asked for a quote. I was quickly told it was going to be about $200- fine by me as my insurance will reimburse me up to $250. I was told the driver would call me within an hour to coordinate. He did, and said my bike would be home by 7pm.
I did not hear back from the driver until after 7pm when he said he was still 20 minutes out, which wound up easily being 30+ minutes. The real rough part was that the poor guy seemed to be completely flustered and unfamiliar with how to quickly and safely load the motorcycle. The vehicle was massive flat bed hauler that was major overkill and made it difficult to ramp the bike up safely. He needed help even getting the bike onto the actual ramp and needed me to precariously jump on to hold the brakes my own bike while the ramp was still full tilt and being operated. Super sketchy. The tow guy leveled the bed and nearly injured himself multiple times tripping over his own winch cable. When it seemed like it was secured enough he followed me home (3mi away). He proceeded to park nearly 3 houses away and when I asked him why he was so far away he said we could roll it. I'm sorry, I'm paying a tow service to my house, not half way up the block. I asked him to reverse back but he didn't understand as he hardly spoke any English which was exceedingly difficult to navigate given the stressful situation. The driver then tried backing into my driveway with his massive vehicle and was blocking the street and running the curb. I kept telling him to stop and to simply reverse back down the street to be closer to my house, not to try and swing this massive truck across the street.
Unloading was wildly unsafe. He completely unstrapped the bike before tilting the bed which he realized too late. He was on the truck bed sitting on my motorcycle to keep it upright and asked ME to operate HIS TOW TRUCK to lower the bed. I absolutely said no way, I was NOT going to be liable for anything regarding operating HIS OWN machinery. I was then forced to sit on my motorcycle and clamp the brakes while he let down the truck bed which was terrifying as I had no safety gear and the angle was so steep that the bike still wanted to slide down backwards. He needed to get behind me to help me roll down without dropping the bike or going too fast because the angle was so crazy steep.
The absolute deal breaker for a good review was that after all of this I was charged $270- NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE to the $200 quote I was given earlier.
Unbelievable price for a 3 mile tow with equally unbelievable lack of English communication or safety skills despite the type of labor being done. Really sketchy all around and I'm worried it's only a matter of time before the driver who towed my bike winds up seriously injuring himself or others.

Why is Bay Area Towing trying to hide that it is affiliated with Auto Towing LLC and Specialty Towing in SF who are being investigated by FBI for illegal towing, fraud, money laundering, etc.

This company is a scam. They towed my car from private property without securing proper documentation. Then the owner was rude and volatile, posting personal information on the internet. This operation is a scam and a front for some nefarious people. Stay away.

Predatory tow yard, that the owners seem to think it's okay to steal people hard earned vehicles, on top of stealing our tax dollars for their welfare. The owners of this company have been arrested for collecting welfare while making $2M a year. Jose Badillo bought a Lamborghini with his EBT card... Hahahahaha enjoy prison
