The employee that was on duty in the morning of Saturday March 16th needs to be personally congratulated. I had made a reservation on a different car company the previous night and they called me 10 minutes before i get my car just to tell me that my reservation was canceled. I went all over the place looking for another car with no success. Until i arrived in avis. The employee there moved earth and heaven to help me. He overcame bureaucratic obstacles and performed impeccable customer services in streessful conditions as i was so desperate to get a car (already late for a 6hr journey). Congratulations.

This is our third rental car in the US. We have earlier booked by Europcar. This time with AVIS, and I must say that we have never before had such a fantastic experience! We only spended 30 minutes from entering the shop until we had our car, and that includes waiting time in the line. I wish it could be like this everytime. Your staff is so friendly, fast and professionel, we have never experienced that before with Europcar.So thanks again for giving us such a great experience, and thanks for having such great staff! I returned the car almost 2 hours early and the Avis lady checked me in and told me they would send me a receipt. She then waited to officially check me in until 4 hours later when it was 2 hours past due and then charged me for an extra day. I’ve contacted them with no response. Beware of this type of scam at this location!

I reserved a full-size and instead received an SUV. Within 20 minutes, I got a check-engine light and the car could not accelerate properly. I called the Avis emergency road assistance but after 20 minutes on hold I decided to give up and instead go to Avis at the airport to replace the vehicle. I wasted 1h30 and in the end could not complete the trip I had planned for that day. I don't understand why Avis gave me the wrong car, gave me a broken car (for that matter), and did not pick up the emergency assistance line within a reasonable time.

The employees were very helpful. I need a car for business while my car was getting service. Great vehicle options. Very easy pick up and drop off. Location is convenient to the city.

Extremely poor attitude from staff. They ask for a separate card for liability insurance, something I have never been asked for by any other Avis location. They also refuse to try using the existing credit card.I would recommend using a different location if you can. If you can’t, bring 2 credit cards if you want to opt for liability insurance.

I have been renting regularly from Avis on Post St. I appreciate the service and the collection of good cars. They especially have a good selection of electric cars! I rented a Ford Mach E and Hyundai Ionic --both were amazing. Thanks for offering a good selection of cars :)..Also, Thanks to Vitali and a couple other folks on the front desk who patiently respond to questions!

Our average experience was good until we gave back the car, and trust me that we had quite a hard time. The second day having the car it broke down, thankfully we were able to arrive to a secure destination. The following day they towed it and a taxi took us to a different city to pick up another car from AVIS, even though this adventure, everyone was chill and we arrived 5 hours later to our next stop, but no problem, we continued our trip. When we dropped off the car in San Diego, we were accused of having dog fur in the car, and while I was translatici what the guy was saying to my wife, and she was quite upset with the accusation that of course was not true, the guy accused us, again, of lying in his face, because he knew Spanish and could understand (????). We weren't speaking Spanish and we were just saying that it was impossible, that maybe it was from the shoes or somethibg because a dog hasn't been in the car 100% sure. Everyone having a dos knows that if it goes into a car, that car is goig to be FULL of fur, not just 4 tiny things on the car carpets. His behavior ruined our last hours in SD and leaves a bad experience with AVIS.

I went to Avis 675 Post St SF, Ca to rent a vehicle for a week. The price was affordable. To pick up, the lady gave all the information about the vehicle and how much am paying, gave my receipt. She then point to a glass door and said to go out and some one will assist me, IT WAS VALET!! LOOOVED IT!! the african american attendant hand me the car! He made my day!! He was very very nice! gave me additional info. I didnt have to go around in a parking lot trying to fin the car!! When I returned the car the parking was full but someone came running to assist me :) THANK YOU AVIS YOU HAVE EXCEL YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
