Worst customer service. Had to wait over an hour each time to talk to anyone and they didn't even help me cash my paycheck. This is the worst bank. I hate them and will be pulling out all my $.

This location always has a long line and only 1 or occasionally 2 tellers working. If you ask the circulating short curly haired man why there are only 2 tellers working he will make you regret it. I'm certain he eats children for breakfast. Once you wait the requisite hour in line, Helen will make you redo your signature 5 times because she's sure you're not who you say you are, despite having come there twice a month for the last twenty years. Also, they close a lot and offer no reason why. For example, they were closed yesterday (Tue 9/7/21), today (9/8/21) and the automated phone service says they'll be closed tomorrow, too. No one can tell you why, they're just closed.

Although my reason for being here wasn't complicated, I received great service. Granted, all I was doing was turning 1's into 20's for my son. He had been saving them for a long time. The machine counts the 180 ones in a few seconds. Moments later we have 20's! Thank you very much!

..this bank has always came through for me..they've given first time forgiveness waiving certain fees w a warning.. ..whenever I've had a problem with an overcharge and had to contest something. .rheyre pretty much immediately refunded ..this has happened quite a few times. .in fact, one time I ordered a phone and distinctly remember I had trouble understanding they're English and I had been overcharged for over $400 a month for months..and it's not like I'm a 'valued' customer living week to week at times when not much more than a pittance in my count..so they would have every reason to doubt me..

Everyone was covid safe work mask and gloves and provided hand sanitizer. But their attitude was not acceptable. No one wanted to assist me. and their atm machine was down so I had to wait for a relersantive. No one was assisting someone. Just sitting there. I asked if I can make a quick deposit they would direct me to the atm. I told them it was broken. Then they said I'll be with you in a minute. 20 minutes past 3 people didn't want to help me. I ended up leaving because I was running late for a meeting. What a complete waste of time.

Lazy bankers, on their personal cell phones all the time. Expect a very long wait, even for the most basic tasks such as a wire transfer.

There is an auto retry on posted payments. The bank said it was the merchant. That is a big lie. The retray after a decline of payment is BANK OF AMERICA. They retried 9 times on a online payment to Cox. I did not have enough mony to pay the $100. For two weeks they retired 9 times and every time they charge me $35 for a return fee. This was address two months ago and the BOA says it was the merchant. Either they do not know how there system worksor this is a revenue source that they do jot mentioned. BEWARE even if you have a over draft protection this will still be charged. Closing my acount and going to Silver state credit union tthat has better products!

They get the job done, I just wish they had more tellers in line so the line would move faster, Karen is great tho, really nice to talk to, she alone would get a 5 star ratings for this location if there was more tellers

Came here during my lunch hour to get some laundry quarters. I saw the long line and got in it.... lots of unhappy people looking like they've waited a while, some trying to get the staffs attention. There was an angry livid customer shouting at the staff and yelling profanities and holding up the line but the staff were very polite and treated her with respect. I waited maybe 10 minutes before a nice lady came out and started from the end of the line to ask people what they were there for. When she got to me she pulled me aside and let me exchange my cash for quarters so I didn't have to wait in the line. Overall the staff were all very nice but I don't think I'd want to come back because of the long wait times.

Wait, hold up! Did Porsche REALLY give Bank of America a 5-star review? :: The crowd goes wild!:: Now, now...settle down! Let me preface this review by stating that BOA did not put extra money in my account to write this stellar review, but they did provide me the utmost BEST customer service today which really made me realize how much I truly value their business! So, I received a call today from an institution that informed me that they never received my cashier's check that I sent in the mail 3 weeks ago. Well, you know I panicked after getting that call, right? The first thing I thought to myself was, "Dammit! Someone may have found that checked and cashed it!" I didn't waste any time in running to BOA and handling it immediately. I requested to speak to my favorite agent in the branch, Juliana, who is truly awesome at providing the best customer service! I've been coming to Juliana for 3 years and she never disappoints. Yes, I am that person that will kindly wait for my turn to speak to Julianna even if it means giving up 30 minutes of my time. I truly value great customer service and Juliana is the true definition of it! Everything from fixing a maintenance fee, to paying my rent...shoot! Julianna even gives me tips on how I can save more money in my account! She is truly fabulous and a great addition to the branch. However, my situation was way more difficult to handle for Juliana, so she called the branch manager, Kenny, to assist me. Now, Kenny came through and didn't disappoint as well! My first time dealing with him and it was fabulous! Kenny is professional, sincere and exceptional at handling difficult questions and situations. THANK YOU KENNY! He was able to do some investigation and was able to get me all the documentation I needed in order to send to the institution. Lastly, he also reassured me that everything was going to be A-OKAY! This experience really reassured me why I stick to Bank of America although they can be a pain in the ( I ) The customer service at this branch is truly fabulous and I truly appreciate the great service I constantly receive from Julianna (and Kenny)! **P.S.-Avoid coming here during the end of the month or the beginning of the month. It's worse than the DMV lines; seriously!

Interesting concept. I just needed an ATM to deposit a few checks and some cash. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when I had to swipe my card to enter during the daytime. Nothing still seemed out of the ordinary when I beelined straight to the ATM, (there are 2 available and I was the only person inside). Nothing yet when I started taking my card out of my wallet. However, through the beats of my thumping headphones and through the darkness of my sunglasses, I felt like the TV behind me was really looking at me. Like, really staring at me. And he wouldn't shut up. So I whip my head around and pull out my headphones and realize there is a pleasant looking guy asking me how my day is. It took me a few moments to realize it wasn't just a pre-recorded message, but is actually someone trying to interact with me! I say hello and tell him I'm doing well. He proceeds to list off a bunch of services he could provide via this telecommunication method. He could help me with general banking, open a loan, help me with my financial goals, etc. "Cool!" I replied. "I only have a few checks I need to deposit" "Oh ok! Sounds good." He replies before the screen fades to the BOA logo. I turn around to go about my business. "But let me know if you have any questions or need assistance with anything!" The screen lights up with his smiling face again. "I'm good, thank you though!" I say over my shoulder before I turn back around. "Oh yeah, and go *sports team!" (He saw my bag that has a logo on it) "Oh...haha...yeah!" I do have to say though. I felt the safest at this location. The security guard combined with needing to swipe your card to enter, as well as a Robo tv guy greeting every person, makes me feel good knowing these Atm's have not been tampered with and no chance of someone coming up from behind to take my money or anything. It's a really cool concept and I'm sure as more people learn about it they will find much good use out of it. I also understand it is slow and they were eager to see someone come in. But gosh, I purposely use ATMs to avoid human interaction..and this was wayy too much interaction than I was expecting or ready for. LOL! I quickly finish my transaction and hurry out before the screen has a chance to light up one more time. ahh!

Needing to deposit my checks, I headed out on my late lunch break knowing I would run into a "B of A" since they're everywhere in FiDi. I run into an empty but new ATM center I've seen under construction for some time. Apparently it's what my app calls their "Advanced Center" location next to the AT&T store. To enter slide your credit/debt card or digital equivalent via contactless reader. I used my iPhone Wallet to gain entry. Curious, I walk in and was greeted by a video of a banker on the big flat panel screen. Took me a few seconds to realize she was real and not some A.I. or well timed video before I responded to her hello. After a brief chat, I realized I looked like I had a screw loose chatting to a TV from the bystanders outside. I realized I still had to make an adjustment to deposit my checks in the proper account, so she guided me to the room a few steps down. She suddenly appeared in the other room reminiscent of Max Headroom and verified my identity by asking me a few personal questions. Not entirely sure the room is soundproof, but it didn't occur to me at the time since I was the only person at the location. I advise to double check if you plan on a visit. If you don't feel like interacting in this manner, there's many ATMs or traditional branches out there. Otherwise check it out. It's the first Advanced Center in all of San Francisco, and I imagine not the last. Complete the techy experience by jumping on an E-scooter and zip over and grab a cup of coffee at Cafe X.
