Bank of America- Customer Service Department P.O. Box 6772050 Dalla TX. 75267-2050 To whom it may concern: I just wanted to let you know that I had a conversation with one of your supervisors today, Timaya L. After speaking with her, and I will state why I spoke to her, I requested to speak to her supervisor, and she said that her supervisor was not available, and she would call me back; I stated that I would prefer to hold...before I could finish my sentence, she hung up on me. I called today, because I made a misstate in making a payment to the wrong Bank of America credit card; I paid with credit card ending in 6162 instead of Band of America credit card; 6245. I called on Friday, April 5, 2024, and was told that the transaction had to post to the account before anything could be done. I called back on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, and was told that it would not be a problem and the payment would be transferred to the correct credit card on Monday. I called today, April 8th, 2024, at approximately 11:50 am, and spoke to a young lady and told her my situation and my conversation with the customer service representative on Saturday and she proceeded to advise me that there was nothing that could be done at this time and that I had to wait two billing cycles before anything could be done. I told her that was totally unacceptable and asked to speak to her supervisor. That is when Timaya L. came on the phone. Unfortunately, she was very condescending and repeated what her subordinate had told me and told me that there was nothing she or anyone else could do for me. I proceeded to tell her that nothing is impossible and if there was a will there was a way. I also, proceeding to say that if there was nothing no one that could help me with this situation, I would have no alternative but to close my Bank of America credit card accounts, which I had since 2012 and to my surprise she was very willing to close all my accounts-without objecting. This situation left me with a very bad feeling, and I never thought Bank of America would allow their employees to treat customers with such disrespect, heartlessness and not care whether credit card accounts were closed or not...it is so very sad. I would also like to inform you that I will also be posting a copy of this letter in Yelp so that everyone is aware of what to expect when they have a problem with one of their accounts. Sorry to be leaving but I guess everything happens for a reason and when one door closes another will open.

I do not normally have good experiences with Bank of America and have had difficulty with other branches with such a simple request to just close a saving account (Castro & 24th were not helpful!).However the team at the Laurel Village office were all very helpful especially Mazen Emam who was extremely efficient (and the loan specialist who was initially willing to help his team but I didn’t catch his name). Firstly, they didn’t make me make an appointment as they weren’t busy, and the whole process took a matter of a few minutes. Good job Mazen and thank you!

Clement location was closed and I was guarenteed that the California street branch manager was going to call me to assist in getting pre-ordered currency for trip. None of this happened and I'm going to a foreign country with no money. Choose a better bank.

It seems some people (including myself) are getting scam calls from this number. Number appears legit, and may just be. However I got one of the weird cold calls today, and upon googling the number it seems other people also have received scam calls from this number. Bank of America, check your staff to make sure you dont have a scammer inside making scam calls.

Beware!!!!!! I am unable to give a zero star review so I guess I have to give them one in order to get on with my review. Bank of America is the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with in my 52 years. I have $19,050 stolen out of my account in May in June 2021. Today's October 2022 and they still owe me 10,000 of those dollars. To be fair, the EDD in California is involved partially which Murray did the waters a little bit, but the bottom line is Bank of America found where my money went within a month of me reporting it. I have spent no less than 200 hours trying to get the rest of my money. They want me to give up, but it's not gonna happen. I tried everything including my representative, Barbara Lee, who I have been trying since March. At least 20 voicemails so far, where I actually got a person 3 times. They suck too. No return call in 3 months. I did reach my Senator recently. After 2 1/2 months of "help" I was told I need to get a hold of my district representative. I was given Barbara Lee's contact info. I'm not giving up, but use this as an example of the service you can expect from BofA. Anybody out there that can maybe help? I made a transfer to my credit union like I had 15 or 20 times before without issue. This time, after the 48 hours it says to wait, I called to report the $ never landed in my account. 15 or 20 calls later, and about a month, I get a letter in the mail Denying my claim stating I had to get the money back from the person I sent it to at Wells Fargo. I called right away and said they had the thief that hacked my account and to go get them. PLEASE?!?!? That was a year and a half ago. They STILL own me $10,000. Why did they return my $9,050 and not all $19,050. They can't tell me, but I'm still denied. No, I assure you I am not. I'm going to the speaker of the house and the governor next. STAY AWAY FROM BofA!!!! This money was my State Disability money, so you can imagine how handy this money would be for me and my family. 100% disabled combat vet who hasn't worked since Covid 19 disabled me, and my job of 29 Loyal years let me go without giving me a chance to recover. Not qualified for long term disability because of bla bla b******** Thanks AT&...... that's another story. I hope someone in BofA reads this unbelievable story that is my life and can help. Have some humanity, compassion, or just do your damn job. Nothing more is necessary

I made an appointment online to meet with a banker. I received email and text reminders as expected. I showed up right in time and the person I was supposed to meet was simply not working that day. "But I made an appointment" I said. "But that person is not here. Do you want to reschedule?" No. That's why I made an appointment. No apology or explanation. I waited 20 minutes to try to talk to someone else before leaving. Lesson learned? Apparently their appointment system doesn't actually do anything. Anyway don't go to this branch and probably don't use boa in the first place.

The line is so long and there is either only 1 or 1.5 people at the counter for a very long line. Waited over 30 min to get to a teller not even at rush hour. It was 2pm. Got out at 2:40pm. 40 min to do one transaction at the counter is unacceptable. It's been this way for a long time and nothing is being done to change things despite people sharing their dissatisfaction, walking out as didn't have time, using profanity in line and we're in one of the most affluent neighborhoods in sf.

Idiots! Mr. Chan, the manager, is useless and the rep who signed up my account screwed things up that has cost me money and numerous hours on the phone with customer service fixing their incompetence. Avod this location!

Can't give zero stars? Every time I come here there's only one teller helping people. Just came to do something quick and have to wait in line 10-15 minutes. The company I work for banks here so I have to put up with this, otherwise I would never bank with this company. Do not come to this branch.
