I looked online for mechanics in the area for BMW and the reviews were said it all. I called and a gentleman by the name of Will took my call and was able to fit me in the same day. He called me with options to resolve the issue and was able to pick up my car same day before the close of business. Very satisfied with the outcome, good customer service and happy to have chosen to go to Bay Motor Works.

They were highly recommended by several BMW owners for work on mine. They were very knowledgeable, easy to work with and fair on price. I got lucky that there was a cancellation for the day after I called, and without even asking for a quick turn around they had the work done the same day. I also needed a tire changed, and they took pictures for me for an insurance claim. Much appreciated!

I was referred to Cliff and Will by VAS Motor Works after switching from a VW to a BMW and needed a specialist. The 2014 X1 I bought was poorly maintained and needed some TLC. These guys are real pros and have a noticable culture of hard work there. After a new radiator, oil filter housing gasket, new spark plugs and coils, and a front brake job, the car runs and drives like it was cured of an illness and I didn't even know it was sick.
I can lean obsessive when it comes to my cars, and as busy as they are, they were very patient with me and answered my questions the best they could. Very transparent and willingly estimate costs for you prior to performing work. Labor prices I believe are average or maybe slightly above average for BMW specialists, which would be deserved. You get what you pay for.
If you want to know your BMW is taken care of, this is where you go.

It is hard tio find a good mechanic, let alone a mechanic you can trust. The folks over at Bay Motor Works are the best! People you can trust with your car and have no fear of overcharging you for work done. Clifford is the man. I appreciate his patience and willingness to always break down what work he has done and what still needs to be done and the cost breakdown. Im glad i found Bay Motor and so is my pocketbook.

My last visit here was awful, poor diagnosis that was wrong. Customer service gone down hill. Very expensive , I may as well go to dealer.
3 years ago- My go to repair shop for 2009 BMW X3, Found Bay Motor Works 3 years ago after being disappointed by my local BMW dealer. Clifford operates a professional repair business, knowledgeable, timely and efficient.

Cliff has been servicing our 335i since we moved to SF a few years ago. We now live in Marin and still bring the car to the City for Bay Motor Works to service. Reliable, Fair prices and good service!

This was not my first time at this repair shop. There was a name change when the original owner Michael retired and I have met and had my '68 olds repairs general and otherwise taken care of there. Bay Motors took over and it seems all or at least some of those mechanics remained. I took my weekly driver a 2008 Smart car in for front brakes and rotors and I am totally pleased with the price, timeliness, and repair. Excellent service at all levels.
