Horrible experience. Food was cold, atmosphere of the place is way off, service is horrible. Don’t come here.

I had the opportunity to try out a San Francisco classic today at the Fisherman’s Wharf Boudin bakery. As a vegetarian, I opted for their Rustic tomato soup and it was delicious. The atmosphere of the cafe was fantastic and had a vintage vibe.

It's crab season in San Francisco! Had the crab Louie last week, which was surprisingly good for $17. So thought I'd give the open face crab melt a try. Again, I was pleasantly surprised! Two toasted slices of Boudin's sourdough were thick with crab. Though it was a bit too salty for my taste, there was plenty of crab flavor. Pretty good for $16.

Decent food, fast service. Pay attention to the menu as the Pepperoni pizza comes with peppers and onions as well as the Pepperoni. The clam chowder is decent a large bowl with a fresh bun and butter. Well priced in a small food court below Macys.

I love soup with bread bowl so much, my first time noticed Boudin at SF airport, I didn’t try at that time. Yesterday I crossed Macy’s, I saw some people who was eating the soup, so I decided to picked up today for my lunch.Although I picked up, the package is really well, after I came home, my soup still warm.I love the Boudin Loyalty Rewards Program gives every member rewards, I got my monthly bread and $5 off, it’s very friendly and driving me visit often, is pretty fair.I love the hard bread, it’s chewy and fullness, I ate soft bread before and I felt empty after I ate, even if the sourdough not sweet, not as tasty as chocolate croissant, it’s healthier. Thanks for the friendly female staff who responded my questions and understand what I need, I feel warm with this woman, thank you for your service. That was a great experience here.

Boudin's Bakery in San Francisico is fashioned in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of downtown SF. It has all the classic, deliciousness you can expect from Boudin's Bakery; along with the BEST sourdough bread anywhere! Make sure to visit all locations for the array of specialty animal or sea creature sourdough creations.

I usually visit for lunch around twice a month. However, my recent encounter with the manager, Brandy, was less than satisfactory. I politely asked if they could put my cookies in a separate bag, but she abruptly cut me off, stating she was too busy with orders to assist. It was a surprising and rude experience, making me reconsider supporting a business where managers can't handle basic customer requests.

The service was quick。 when I came, there wasn't much of a line. Got to compare the bread here from fisherman's wharf and it's just as good. The location is right by Union square, a block away. Got me a giant loaf of bread to take home.

Love it. Note that there's two of them. One on the street level and another at the basement of Macy's.

Boudin has been baking San Francisco Sourdough bread from the Boudin Family since 1849! I thought the sourdough was delicious and you could tell it has that local flavor. I could tell the difference between that sourdough and others, it was a unique flavor for that location. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided a great recommendation for all of the different types of "bread" they served. I recommend checking them out for a local sourdough bread!

Beautifully sour tangy bread bowl with a warm creamy tasty clam chowder. We enjoyed sharing one bread bowl filled with clam chowder for lunch! The service was fantastic, served with smiles. I was surprised to see so many people leaving their bread bowls behind (after they finished their chowder). For us it was great to eat the bread after we enjoyed the chowder! We enjoyed sitting outside at a small table with the cool wind and warm sun beaming down.We picked this location because it was nearest to our hotel- walking distance. We plan to check out the flagship location at the pier as well!
