Bound Together Bookstore is a cozy, volunteer‑run store offering new and used anarchist & counter‑culture books, zines, and other publications since 1976. Hours vary; call or email [email protected]. The place is an interesting bookstore with titles that you won't find in your average library, focusing on Beat and anarchy among other things. Staffed by volunteers, the staff is amazingly friendly and super duper friendly. A small section of very cheap used books often has some interesting selections. Prices are super reasonable and a section of books goes to Books to Prisoners. The decor is stellar, the book selections are interesting, and the store offers free pamphlets/newsletters, is well organized, and has a program where you can donate books to prisoners.
I haven't had the honor to go here yet but this place gets 10 stars from me for there volunteer work that sends books into prison for free. This place saved my soul by providing me with books and 'zines to read and also educated me when I first started my transition. Thank you Bound Together Book store!

Interesting bookstore with titles that you won't find in your average library. There's a focus on Beat and anarchy among other things. The place is staffed by volunteers and has a small section of very cheap used books that often has some interesting selections. The hours of operation aren't super consistent though.
