Bound Together Bookstore is a cozy, volunteer‑run store offering new and used anarchist & counter‑culture books, zines, and other publications since 1976. Hours vary; call or email [email protected]. The place is an interesting bookstore with titles that you won't find in your average library, focusing on Beat and anarchy among other things. Staffed by volunteers, the staff is amazingly friendly and super duper friendly. A small section of very cheap used books often has some interesting selections. Prices are super reasonable and a section of books goes to Books to Prisoners. The decor is stellar, the book selections are interesting, and the store offers free pamphlets/newsletters, is well organized, and has a program where you can donate books to prisoners.
Very kind workers, very cool store, would've loved to have heard the story about the CNT FAI helmet but unfortunately the worker at the time did not know the tale, still very cool guy though! Love the bookmarks too!

The older gentleman with a ponytail and peace sign necklace was awesome, our group enjoyed his commentary. Sorry to hear about his nephew!! Great selection of zines and used books. Bring cash so you can purchase their $2 used books.
