Ellen is super knowledgeable and helpful. They've got a great selection of mostly European luxury designer lighting. But, the collection is also oddly focused on livability, not just looking great.They have Meljac switches and outlets and bedside lamps.Ellen in particular was wonderful to work with. She knows her stuff really well, and could talk about lighting all up and down the stack, from design to architectural integration to the technicalities of install and offering some options for electricians to think through for meeting various code requirements, in addition to light switches and controls.After being overwhelmed by some other lighting stores, Bright on Presidio was a breath of fresh air. We left feeling much less stressed and much better informed than when we went in. Thanks Ellen!

After failing to get knowledgable advice on installing an Occhio LED lamp purchased in Munich at other high-end lighting and electronics stores across northern California, the folks at Bright on Presidio immediately understood the issue and resolved it...this over the phone and via email in a very timely way. Kind and informed staff plus high quality and unique products in their inventory (see their website) will make this my future destination for lighting.

Beautiful lighting store with high quality lighting and lots of support for American manufacturers. Beautifully presented. Staff is extremely helpful with providing information and looking up details if they don't know the answers to your questions. Lots of lamps, sconces and gorgeous chandeliers from Italy, Switzerland and other places as well. Unique pieces you don't see in other places.
