Browser Books is an independent neighborhood bookstore serving the Fillmore since 1976. It is a cute, cozy, and beautiful shop on a gorgeous street in San Francisco. Although small and tiny, the store is well organized and packed with a great variety of books. It offers new books in all subject areas with a pretty up-to-date and great selection, including gifts and sale books. The staff is welcoming, well-read, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and sweet. They provide brilliant selections and can help find specific books. Bought in 2019 by Green Apple Books, it is undergoing improvements. Visitors, tourists, and lifelong San Franciscans should not miss this place.
