Ordered a dishwasher with them well over a year ago, with the expectation that it would be 10 months until it arrived. Those months elapsed and we were told "we don't know when it will arrive, but we'll keep you updated." Six months later and no one will return our emails about the expectations. Truly terrible customer service so unless you can immediately walk out with the thing you need, I would not recommend them.

They seem to have a good selection and the delivery/install people seem very good. The customer service around in-progress orders is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Promises around what is available quickly are not fulfilled once the order is placed; estimates get revised and revised with no explanation or outreach; emails and calls go unanswered. While I understand supply chain issues and so on, the lack of communication, even "this is the best info we have," makes the overall experience really bad.

Several years ago I bought some appliances from BCS and had a great experience. It seems things have changed quite a bit. When my old dishwasher stopped working in April we turned to BCS to buy a brand new Miele. The BCS team installed it and left, and it didn't make it through the first load before it stopped working. When we called BCS they were unresponsive and ultimately told us it was not their issue since they had installed it, and that we would have to deal with Miele directly. Two months later I am still dealing with Miele who have dragged their heels trying to get parts and service appointments scheduled. After the most recent service two weeks ago where they were still unable to fix it, they said they would escalate to get us a new dishwasher. We recently heard back that they cannot give us a new dishwasher until they have tried three service appointments. So now we wait again, with a faulty dishwasher that BCS sold us, and neglected to honor. I most definitely will not purchase anything from BCS again!

Beware! BSC lacks the subject matter expertise when it comes to installation of the premium appliances they sell. For my custom paneled Liebherr refrigerator, the panels were not properly installed or aligned. They stripped the screws leaving me with a freezer that will not close unless i lift the panel. They have sent their “best technicians” to my home 3 times and each time they visit the issues actually get worse. It’s been 8 months.My Miele dishwasher install was also done incorrectly by BSC. I had to reach out to Miele to get referred to technicians that are properlyTom Papageorge trained.I have tried working with their customer service team, but I just got lectured that there people are well trained and they’re doing their best. I tried reaching out to the CEO Tom Papageorge and after promising, he would look into this and follow up, he has yet to follow up with me.

Although I did not end up buying from BSC, the sales person was very gracious with his time answering the various questions I had about one of the products they carry. They seemed very knowledgeable.

worst store in the city. Beware. right before the pandemic they delivered a faulty Bosch dishwasher and a faulty sub zero fridge. I complained. asked them to take them back. they would not even talk to me. I'm stuck with over $11,000 in appliances that still don't work!!!!

If I could give the management team at BSC Culinary negative stars, I would. When our Amana refrigerator, purchased here 17 years ago, suddenly stopped working, my husband & I headed here for a replacement. We had received excellent customer service when we purchased our stove, refrigerator and cabinets here in 2005. Sadly not the case in 2021. Long story short, the employee sent out to measure our space, measured incorrectly; our fridge purchased in July 2021 arrived at the GE warehouse in November 2021 and subsequently went missing; finally a 1/14/22 installation date was scheduled; sadly the fridge did not fit through the kitchen doorway; our old refrigerator had been removed this date; unfortunately the water dispenser hook up was not closed off properly and we awoke the following morning to a flooded kitchen area with water dripping into the garage; we paid our contractor $450 to remove and replace doorway trim to allow the refrigerator to squeeze through; the refrigerator was finally installed on 2/10/2022, nearly 7 months post purchase. We did request a price reduction given the situation described above; management offered a partial reimbursement, although short of the amount originally agreed upon. When discussed with Danielle, BSC Operations Manager, she advised that "we are humans and my installers make mistakes." Granted mistakes are made by all of us but those with integrity own them and apologize. Please do note that Jay, Senior Sales Strategist, and delivery folks, Will, Max, John & Johnny, all did their best and were very customer oriented.

I bought a Fisher&Paykel dishwasher for $2,200. from BSC Culinary about a month ago. It is two drawers and the larger top drawer most times does not start. I am hand washing my dishes. I have received terrible customer service from Jay at BSC Culinary. I have emailed him and called him and I have received no resolution to my problem. He said he would call Fisher&Paykel Repair to come out and look at the dishwasher but I have heard from no one. There is no Fisher&Paykel repair business in San Francisco. I highly recommend doing business somewhere other than BSC Culinary on Mission Street in San Francisco.

I was in the market for an upgraded microwave and oven. I had an excellent experience working with Jay Vargas over at BSC. He was really helpful and creative at helping me figure out a combo that would work and that was within my budget. He was also very thorough reviewing the install guides to make sure the pieces would fit. Highly recommend working with him over at BSC!

I highly recommend BSC Culinary. Bill is super easy to work with, very knowledgable about the products, and responsive. He went above and beyond in helping us figure out what we needed and making sure it was going to work perfectly in our space. These guys are pros.

Terrible experience. Salesman did not know the merchandise and I ended up with a dishwasher that has no factory-provided door panel forcing me to have a custom one made at substantial expense. I wrote a detailed summary of my experience seeking a refund of the amount I paid for a door panel that didn't fit. I never received a response or a refund. I advise avoiding this merchant. There's a lot of competition around with salespeople who have taken the trouble to learn the products.
