After a decade of looking at their trench coats, I finally decided it was time to get one. From the moment my husband and I walked in, Jonathan was welcoming and friendly. He ran all over the store to grab both of us multiple sizes and styles, and even brought a suit jacket so my husband could get the proper fit for his trench coat. Jonathan was so helpful and knowledgeable and entertained us with facts and history about the trench coats too! Definitely a great experience for us.

I had an 11 a.m. appointment to have my trench coat and sweatshirt assessed, and I was kept outside for 7 minutes. The staff was apparently unaware of my impending arrival. I even questioned why the evaluation would be conducted at a counter. 'Daniel' then led me upstairs, but it was nothing like being treated like a product owner. The evaluation was brief, and it was discovered that nothing could be done. He was on his phone the next thing I knew. As I walking down the stairs, I noticed two other employees glued to their phones. The security guard did something different: he stood on one leg while flexing the other. If the employees wanted to demonstrate their disdain for privileged Burberry product owners, they have done so spectacularly. But, based on my observations, I believe it was the result of inadequate job training that led to the rest of us walking in and having to endure episodes of bozo explosions. Being there and talking to the staff member was a strange experience. I know not to buy any Burberry products now that I know the repair and restoration work is so limited and the customer service is so poor.

This is store is cheater. They can go to any extent to save their commission. They will make sure somehow to find a fault and not take return until they exhaust the return window. Thy will not communicate at all. Please stop buying from this store.

Nice store near Union Square. Great selection. Heightened security means you are not free to browse on your own.

Complete joke of a store, brand, customer service etc... Bought and paid for a specific purse. Was told it will be delivered in 4 months. Waited while being in contact with the store. Everything is fine they told me. Your bag will arrive soon. 2 days before I get the bag I receive a text from the same sales person who was confirming my order all along. The text was " hi your bag is arriving but it won't be the one you ordered. They decided to manufacture a new model and I'm sure you will love it... oh and by the way it will cost you an extra $1000." WTF are you kidding me??? I'm really thinking of suing Update: I just learned that my purse was manufactured and is available in the US. So sad

My email to corporate Burberry I was stopped by the manager, Paul, and refused entry into the store. Mind you, I'm with my son who's 14; whom I'm trying to buy a suit for his upcoming graduation. There was a retractable belt barrier to enter. The store wasn't even busy at all. So I stood there and an employee gestured that someone would be with me shortly after he saw me standing there. I waited for over 4 minutes then I called out, "Hello, hello?" The manager, Paul, walked to the barrier within 3 seconds and got right into my face and yelled, "Why are you yelling?" in a threatening manner who was within 1.5 feet away from my face. I had to keep my arm out to ensure he doesn't try to get more physical. I said, "I've been waiting here for 4 minutes and I'm wondering what's the hold up." He yelled, "Well, I don't have any associates to help today, that's why it's taking so long." He said this as there were two more associates standing behind him as backup security as what he said is totally untrue. And are customers supposed to telepathically know the number of employees at your store on that day? This experience is utterly ridiculous and unacceptable. Look at all the other Yelp reviews for your San Francisco store, it's a 3.5 Yelp stars with 1 and 2 stars all claiming poor service. When I asked, "Well, is waiting for more than 4 minutes normal?" He again yelled, "YES, It is!" He then gave me the stare down for no apparent reason and said, "You're not coming in today." Good job Burberry, way to ruin your brand and any likelihood of future business. You would think if you were to go with your kid to buy a cute Burberry suit for his graduation, you'd get customer service that's equivalent to your brand equity. I have never experienced this at any other Burberry store in my life, but never again. All I said was, "Hello, hello?" to get someone's attention and this is what happened to me. Go and look at all the videos of poor customer experience from your store and take appropriate actions to ensure people actually want to come back.
