This business does not offer test drives and does not offer a return or exchange period.I bought a new $5,000 Dultron Thunder 3 scooter from them, and it turned out to be defective. It cuts off and sometimes shoots forward when I have the handle pressed halfway.As a result of the unexpected acceleration, I even hit the curb and fell off. I then took it back to them within 10 days after I bought it, but after seeing how it was operating, they refused to fix it on the warranty and refused to give me a refund. And they said I needed to get comfortable with it.They refused to give me a refund or allow me to replace it. I'm now forced to dispute it with my bank.

This shop and the owner are a couple of the many reasons I love kiting. I was in town visiting from Puerto Rico and the owner and his staff could not have been any nicer. Customers were cool too. Just a great vibe. Thanks for all the help. Hasta pronto!!

CaliKites is a pleasure to deal with and their customer service is absolutely amazing! They were very nice answering my questions over the phone and helped me place my order online. I purchased a Evolve Carbon GTR 2n1 skateboard and I am super happy with my purchase! I highly recommend CaliKites.

Let me start this review off first by stating that if I could give them 6/5 stars, I would for their customer service and how they've treated me as customer throughout the last 4 years of buying gear through them!Whenever I buy anything from Cali Kites, I know that I can rest assured they will have my back if anything goes wrong which is extremely rare in the kiteboarding world.On top of this, they won't push products on customers based on their inventory level and will only make recommendations to help you achieve exactly what you're looking for on the water.For example: I've had long chats with Jake, Dylan and Brain on boards, kites, harnesses, bars, wetsuits and so much more, and they always provide their honest opinion on what they like/dislike and will only recommend the exact products to set you up for success on the water.It's rare seeing this because I know that not all other kite shops are like this and this is one of the many amazing things about the shop.Out of all of their recommendations that I've taken, they've never steered me wrong even once and I'm so thankful for taking their advice!If you're a SF local and are looking for kiting gear, make sure to tell them that I sent you and you'll get your local 15% off discount!

I feel bad writing this review, but it's important.I really want to support this place, I bought my Onewheel here, and I've been waiting to buy an accessory for it since February, and every time I ask, they say they're going to have it in a week or two, and it's mid April now. I could've bought it online two months ago, but I've held out, and I feel foolish because I could've been enjoying it this whole time.A local business needs to meet the consumer half way and stock what they say they're going to stock roughly when they say, or order it for me, or tell me it can't be done. I did my part committing to buy locally.

Their store is not up to date that many things are not really in stock. They are doing a warehouse or distribution to sell things that they don't have an item in the store when their online store said otherwise. Call them first before you order any items.

Hands down this was the best retail experience I have ever had. I just bought a new Duotone quiver from these guys. Calikites is a great store with an amazing crew. Brian and Jake are incredibly helpful. They're straight shooters that do good work at fair prices. We live in an expensive city and at times it feels like people are taking advantage at every turn. It feels good to see a small business like Calikites doing right by people. We all know driving in San Francisco is brutal and electric bikes are definitely the way to go. I think Brian made the right bet, with their impressive inventory and solid reputation, I expect big things for this little shop.

Awesome service and work once again if I could give a star Rating it would be SUPER STAR ⭐✨ this time they have my DUALTRON Running Better than it ever has they put new brake pads did brake service filled the tires called me before and after it was done also gave me great maintenance tips to keep it running smooth, again I can thank these guys and girls who work there enough they are all awesome. Along with great service the products are all Top Quality and all at the best price from Kite boards to electric scooters tires service etc this is my FAVORITE PLACE!!!!!
