As soon as you walk in the lady will stretch her neck as far as she can just to analyze you. It didn't happen just once she will literally stand in an aisle just to watch me from the corner of her eye. I noticed that she watches everyone extremely closely in the store too, like damn if you're that paranoid stay home... stress is not good for you. It's extremely disrespectful to assume anyone of theft, but especially me since I work at the same mall. Every time I go there i'm being supervised and it's frustrating and uncomfortable because you would assume they would be able to recognize that I've never stolen from them. The products are nice, affordable prices in my opinion which is why the review isn't 1 star. Just go to the one in japantown, it's not worth the discomfort.

the store is really great and has a lot of good/trendy Korean skincare products for a GOOD price, but there's an older lady that works there who was very keen on racially profiling my friend and i, and following our every steps. for context, she didn't seem to care what the big group of asian girls were doing, yet she assumed that two black girls were going to steal. terrible customer service, so i'll spend my money elsewhere.

I don't use any products in the store, I just went in because my friends had wanted to looked at products the store sold. I was walking around and noticed one of the employees continuously would check up on me or stare at me from a far as if I was stealing when I was just walking around following the people I was with. After the 4th time I decided to just wait outside the store.

Don't dare to come over to this store. The store is unorganized. The tester are always empty. The customer service is BAD. Once you leave the store, you make sure that you have the correct product otherwise it's impossible to get a refund or exchange under any circumstances. I was looking for a toner and moisturizer and I found this $58 each sekkisei skin product and so I bought the toner and moisturizer. They gave me the wrong box which I did not realize. So, I came home ready to use it and as I opened the product, I realized that they gave me both toner. I came back to the store within 4 days and tried to exchange it with the moisturizer and they refused and said they cannot accept open package as they cannot resell it. I have explained the situation which is not even my fault from the first place but they still refused to exchange it. They don't care if you have been a loyal customer for them. I have been buying lots of skin care products from them for many years and never returned anything and yet they cannot even take accountability for their own mistake.

The customer service here is amazing, I'm relatively new to skincare so I don't really know what I was looking for but the employees here was patient and recommended me a lot of useful products for my dry skin. I will definitely be coming back and recommend anyone to come here if they are looking for high quality skin care products. They have an amazing collection of products here as well.

THE EMPLOYEES ARE SO KIND!!!!I went here with my mom and this kind girl helped me find my shade on foundation and matched me really good! They employees are always around looking to see if anyone needs help. Love this place but it is kind of overpriced...but still ai had a good time coming here and being treated kindly by these amazing workers.(They also have a lot of good cushion foundations on stock :))

This is my first Yelp review, and I would like to say candy doll beauty is a lovely K-pop and animation toys store. They have all the Korean and Japanese popular skin care in the store, and I found out they have axis y serum too! I went to the store on June 12th, and I witnessed an incident where a crazy customer displayed impolite behavior towards the workers. "Karen" yelled and said the B-word to the workers. Throughout the interaction, the customer frequently raised her voice, used derogatory language, and belittled the workers. At the end of the conversation, I saw that the employees did NOTHING wrong, but the crazy woman said she would write a bad review on Yelp. (IDK WHAT IS THE POINT OF DOING THIS TO THE LOVELY STORE) I hope the girls didn't get traumatic by the "karen", and maybe the girls should call security to ask the crazy woman to step out of the store next time.Overall, the lovely store deserves a good review! It is crucial to approach reviews with integrity, objectivity, and a focus on providing constructive feedback rather than attempting to inflict harm. :)

Omg! This is my favorite store, and I'd be happy to provide a general review of makeup store products. However, since the stores carry a wide range of brands and products, it isn't easy to choose which one is the best for my skin type, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by a friendly and knowledgeable store associate they recommend the best products for me to try it out! If anyone has questions, feel free to ask the sales they will recommend the product base on your skin type!!!! They guided me through the different brands and explained the features and benefits of each skincare option. They patiently answered all my questions and even demonstrated how to apply the skincare for the best results properly. I left the store feeling incredibly satisfied with my experience!!

The products are overpriced and the service is horrible. When you walked into the store, you will not be greeted but instead they will be watching your every move to see if you're gonna steal anything.The worst part was the customer service that I witnessed at the store. I watched and overheard the whole ordeal the customer had to deal with one of the employee. This employee needs to get some a** whooping because her attitude towards the customer was so unacceptable and unprofessional!! she was yelling and cussing at the customer over some transaction. It was unbelievable and I have to say the customer service at this store is a zero, and it was an unpleasant shopping experience.

I ordered 5 bottle of shower gel from their website since they didn't have enough in store, UPS shows the package was left at front door but I didn't see anything, I contacted them through email, website inquiry form, phone/text, finally someone replied via text a few days later and said the package was delivered, you need to talk to UPS and file a claim, we can't help you. Super unhelpful!!! But UPS said only the sender can initiate this claim, but they didn't want to help! Horrible customer service!

Great selections on beauty products, but bad customer service.I visited today at the Stonestown location, planning to buy some masks and eyeliner. Stayed in store over 15 minutes, no one acknowledged me no one assisted .There were two sales associates sitting behind registers, chatting, laughing and playing on phone. I felt I walked into a ghost town.I feel sad for the business owner for wasting his or hers payroll on these two associates! They don’t do the work but get paid to damage business reputation!But again, beautiful products and unique selections!

This is a really cute store. My favorite things to look at here and get are lip products, anything Sanrio, and some of the few anime merch they have. I love the beautiful display of anime figures in front of the store!
