The best candy shop in the neighborhood. The owner is super nice and friendly. We love to swing by this shop each time we are around

Love coming here! The owners are the sweetest (no pun intended). The selection here is great, you can find Asian candy, European candy and the regular American ones like sour patch kids. They just added an ice cream section which I am obsessed with! Overall this pace is a kids dream and an adults playground when it comes it candy. Definitely a place to visit!

I stumbled upon Candy's while exploring Haight Street and I'm so glad I did! The store is super cute and has a great selection of candies and snacks from all over the world. I especially loved the ice cream, it was nice and creamy. The storeowner was very friendly and even let us sample some of the flavors before making our decision. I appreciated the personal touch and attention to detail. Overall, a great spot for satisfying your sweet tooth or just browsing the fun selection of goodies. Highly recommend! Time: Saturday afternoon Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Price: $ Food: 5/5

I picked up some hard to find candies for Valentine's Day. They have an amazing selection. Their Cadbury selection is great! I want to try all of their Kit Kat flavors.

A colorful addition to an already colorful neighborhood, Candy's offers not only a dazzling display of, yes, candy throughout most of the shop, but also soda, chips, snacks, and an ice cream counter too. If anything, it's the ice cream that's going to drive business throughout the year because at least it's fresh. The candy and snack selection is somewhat pricey given that it consists mainly of small packets of unmarked candies and multiple, somewhat unique flavors of mass-market-branded items - all shelf-stable stuff. So you won't find lots of freshly made chocolates like at See's or Godiva, or even mass-market European candies like Ritter Sport or Droste (although you might find some Lindt items). It's all about 1/3 the size and selection of, say, a decked-out Rocket Fizz candy shop. Still, if you need something somewhat unique in a pinch - slightly more so than what you can get at Target but not necessarily as unique as at Whole Foods or a specialty health foods store - then this is a nice shop to have in the neighborhood.

I stumbled upon this store today and loved it. There's a wide selection of not only candy, but salty snacks and drinks, too! Love the different countries flavors that are available: Japanese unique flavored kit kats, Thai-flavored Lays chips (tea leaf salad flavor, salted egg yolk flavor, sweet basil flavor). The prices were super reasonable here, I was really happily surprised.I'm buying snacks for myself and for my care package gifts from Candy's from now on. The store owner was super kind, too.

Good variety of candy, chocolates, and treats. Store is well organized and clean. It wasn't busy when I popped in on a weekday afternoon so was a good time to come. The gal was very friendly and I left with plenty of sweets!

Normally candy stores are a no-entry zone for me. A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips. Yeah, like I made that up. If I wanted a Snickers, I'll just order a box on Amazon Prime and devour them in a dark closet...in shame. But Candy's had an allure that I can summarize in two words: Japanese Kit Kats. OK, that's three words but still. Oh gosh, $9.99 for a bag of them. Steep but wait, if I buy two, I can get a third for half-off. A deal is a deal, right? Mint. Matcha. Banana Caramel. Custard Pudding. I bought them all. For friends, for neighbors. Yeah, right. A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips. CANDY - 4 stars...yes please AMBIANCE - 4 stars...festive SERVICE - 3.5 stars...engaged enough TOTAL - 4 stars...Japanese Kit Kats are not manju but good for a fix RELATED - Lost in the Haight?
