Champa Gardens on Faxon st off Ocean Avenue, unassuming Thai restaurant with a black entrance door.Inside simply decorated, bench seating tables around two walls and other tables with chairs, bar with some stools on the right, for some unknown reason only one other table occupied that day.Service is fair with no frill. The food is good, well prepared and plentiful, there were four of us, we all picked a different dish and shared. We ordered the Champa sampler, Mango paradise, lad Na noodles, and chicken dish cooked in a red spicy sauce served with haricot vert( al denté)All that food was prepared and served to us within less than 10 minutes. The sampler served with lettuce leaves, with which you make a container to fill with spiced sausages morcel, eggroll and delicious fried rice, that was a meal in itself,Next Mango paradise delicious tender prawn with tangy and sweet mango in a red sauce,Pad kea mow with pork, somewhat a soupy dish served with steamed broccoli, good but not my favorite, last we had that chicken dish in a red spicy sauce served with haricot vert, all good, we ordered also two small bowl of steamed rice, all in all four very delectable dishes for about $75 (before tip) not bad for San Francisco. We will go back and try other dishes.Parking: On Faxon pass the restaurant street parking

I love champa! I come here at least 3 times a month, the service is always fast and I’ve never had something I didn’t love!

Pretty good food at this location. The Nam Kaow rice ball salad was very popular at our table. The Penang curry was also nice with sticky rice. Fried noodles (pad se-ew and pad Thai) had limp, soggy noodles and dry, dry stringy meat. Basil fried rice was not served warm. Pad ped pla dook (spicy catfish) was nice.

Great place to have incredible bowls of soup and much more. The waiters are helpful and friendly. Food tastes great. My favorite is silver glass Tom Yum soup and they know how I like it. Cannot go wrong with this place. And it is open every day.

It is one of the best restaurants in South SF. I will definitely make an effort to go back next time I'm in the Bay Area. The foods are amazing, so fresh and delicious. Each and every dish is so good.We had so many foods, but the stand out is the noodles.

Straightforward Lao/Thai standards (including noodle soups) served at this cozy establishment on a side street off Ocean.Kao Sow noodle soup, heaping portion of noodles served in unctuous broth, with ground pork and choice of protein. Pretty good, but not the absolute best in the Bay Area. Will be back to try other dishes!

The food was delicious. I thought the cuisine was going to taste like Vietnamese food but the flavors are different. Also well priced. Will definitely go back again.Vegetarian options: There are 3 vegetarian dishes to order from

Delicious Thai food, never a wait for a table. All the dishes we tried were tasty. We highly recommend the Appetizer Sampler.

Had the drunken noodles which were great, delivery. Big portions, could have used a bit more flavors. Great value, fast delivery.

The staff and good here was absolutely amazing. They were so kind and accommodating to us, and took care when the spice was a little too much for us. Highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for authentic Thai food:)

Giving 1 star because we waited over 45 mins for our food order. This is unacceptable as 4 door dash orders and 2 other orders came out before my order. Such a shame as the food is pretty good. I wouldnt have minded if my wife and kids were not waiting in the car for that long. Also I checked in with them 2x before getting my order.

Best Thai food in San Francisco. Must get the eggplant and any of the noodle dishes. Sampler is a must!

Obsessed with this place! Can't believe we now live 2 minutes walk from it. Their thom kha soup is so delicious and creamy, my wife is addicted to it. Love that they have a variety of Thai and Laotian style dishes, which you don't find often. Their noodles are such glutenous goodness, really hits the spot when you want some comfort food.

Pad Thai was terrible. Served cold, beef was way over cooked like jerky and had little to no flavor, general flavor of the entire dish tasted like cheap canned tomato paste, no spices. So sad. Could’ve been a lot better…
