Great service. I was helped by Benjamin and he was friendly, personable, and extremely helpful. You don’t see that approach to customer service anymore!

Tried calling ahead to see if they had capacity to help after another branch told me they were too busy and they couldn’t help but referred me here. This branch couldn’t even answer the phone. Useless bank with terrible customer service

Bank Tellers / Indoor experience is always good. Using the outdoor ATM's generally sucks tho. These machines are ssssslllloooowwww. Slower than others I have used at other branches. And many times they will refuse bills, or be out of cash on a Saturday Night. We can't have nice things in The Mission / SF, so this will have to do. Just go inside if you can.

I just went to try and open up a Premium account at this local branch after calling ahead and scheduling a 2 pm appointment. The workers had "no record" of this appointment apparently, although the minimum wage teller at the front apparently let it slip the appointee was actually at lunch. I was invited to wait til..3. Who on earth has an HOUR of their life to give to some moron on lunch? And it's a shame because I read that account has premium offers. Gonna have to just go with an online bank..great customer service but no locations. I guess everything is a trade off in this world, but I really wish Chase would pay these guys more so they could be incentivized to WORK HARDER.

They Don't answer the phone at the branch. Was later told by a call center I had to go to branch in person for what could've been done over the phone.

You may believe this branch does not make transactions from my unemployment card to my regular checking account. Someone has to take responsibility for that since this has been happening since the last 5 months.

This branch refused to cash an insurance check for property damage to my roof after waiting four months for the insurance company to issue the check. The accused me of trying to cash the check at a Wells Fargo previous to trying to deposit it at the chase branch because there was a set of numbers on the back of the check. I told them I had actually just opened the letter as I was waiting in line and I did not try to cash the check before reaching the branch. They insisted I was lying and said I would have to get a new check issued.I had to ask the insurance company to issue a new check then went to Wells Fargo to ask why the staff ant the Chase branch would assume I had attempted to cash it as a Wells Fargo, they said they had no idea and actually the check was issued by a Chase Bank from the insurance company. The Chase branch could have easily checked to see if the funds had been released. I ended up having to wait another two months for the new check to be issued. Not great when you have a hole in your roof!Unfortunately I have to use this bank since the branch near my home has been closed due to covid. I am not one to write bad reviews but on top of this previous issue, yesterday I needed to go to the bank because my pin for a new ATM card never arrived and the people on the phone said I had to go into the branch to resolve the issue. I checked the hours of operation listed on the website before walking 20 minutes to get to the branch which advertised hours open till 6pm. When I arrived at the branch the staff told me they were closed. It just seems like this branch can not operate in a professional way. They cut corners and make customers do the work they should be doing themselves. Since customers pay such high fees to use this bank it is really a disservice to have such terrible customer service.

This bank has improved a lot, so I imagine it's under new management in the last year or two. Since Covid, the line is outside and they make a point to help each person as they reach the front of the line and set expectations. I always have relatively easy needs, with my most common experience being a need for quarters (for laundry), and they're quick to accommodate. I love that they've got the four ATMs outside too. My only real complaint is that other locations offer ATMs in a private vestibule which feels a bit less exposed when dealing with cash. Even so, it's a busy street and I don't ever feel in danger with that many people around.
